I did a sketch for the June compo on June 2, and didn't work on it again until the end of July. I didn't know what to do with it. I finally inked it as-is.

This is a photocopy of the ink drawing, colored with prismacolor pencils, and then gone over with some hilighter pens. In this digital version you can almost tell where the hilighters are.

Mauhyr is a character I played for a while in a Fantasy Hero game. Sadly, the game didn't last long. But I decided I liked the name. Pronounce it as if you were a cat.

I re-uploaded this because I had the wrong title on it, and the old program I'd originally saved it with handles .jpg files differently than some, which resulted in no preview! And here I thought a jpg was a jpg. Sheesh!

Another view of Shadowbreath. Her overall shape is just what I was trying for, but many of the details went wrong. Still, not bad. Clay can be funny stuff to work with.

After doing "Sexy Death on the Wing" I did a couple more drawings of the same dragoness. This also is one I inked, photocopied, and then colored and added detail to the copy. She's in a more mellow mood here.

After doing the small graphite drawing I decided to try it in color. The shapes of the rocks in the cliffs (not the colors!) are inspired by basalt columns in the Columbia River Gorge where I live.

Kohan Path Paw, a Wemic I was in an AD&D game. This is him right after killing 3 orcs in one round, just before getting nearly killed by a single wild sword cut from a very frightened orc. Being first level is hard.
