Evening Traffic

Hmmm can anyone spot the major huge fault? Well it has to do with the car. I don't actually have a license or own a car! But it isn't the same when we all walk down to the Tesco with Moomin yelling obscenities from behind us... then again maybe it is - thats pretty much what its like when we go shopping.

Grocery Shopping

This comic is sorta ironic as I'm the one with the fat belly from too much cola and doughnuts, and here I am going on about 'healthy' foods? I wouldn't know what healthy food is!

The Bus Trip

Have you ever commuted on a bus or train and spent the journey with your snout in a book? I have, when I used to work. I would sit down and just when I was getting into the book I would have to get off - and I didn't even notice the scenery go by. Listening to music is better cos you get to hear and enjoy it while looking out the window at the scenery going by.

Don't Pick On Children

Ok you can annoy my native fauna, pick on my friends and spy on me while I'm drying off but you do not go anywhere near Wai. This guy is really looking for trouble. Now excuse me while I thump him into the middle of next month. Unfortunately he will probably be back at some future date with some more annoyances.

No Dragon Is Safe

Uh Oh... he is looking my way.. No! Get him out of my room! Not when I'm trying to dry! Hey can't a dragon get any privacy around here? Who let this freak in here anyway?

Take Away Food

And the funny thing is for every McDragons franchise Vitty eats, two more pop up in its place. On the one hand it means that Vitty will never be short of food but on the other it means that every other shop is a McDragons. (Now everyone knows the secret to how Vitty maintains his well rounded figure)

Crikey!

Run for your lives! Its Steve Irwin! He is invading IAPW for a couple of weeks just so we be take pleasure in beating him around a bit. We have always wanted the crocs, snakes, lizards, dragons or whatnot to get their own back, so Vitty is the first to take his pound of flesh.

Wai's Birthday

Happy Birthday Wai! One year old and she is still as cute as the day she was born! After the cake, we all had apple pie instead. With cream! Yaaay pie! Woo! Yay! Hoopla!

Guess What's Coming!

Yes, its been a year already and Wai is a year old! Hard to believe a year ago I was in hospital expecting Wai to be born. Time sure has flown since then - Its been an eventful year.

Its A Herpy Thing

Really, should furs wear clothing? It just seems to be a human concept that doesn't really suit furs - especially furs who have .. well, fur! Then again with dragons too, who have thick skin or scales, clothes are only decoration... Urf, what was I on about? I think I need some caffeine.

Interviews or Auditions?

The fun part of finding a new flatmate is going through all the interviews to find a suitable candidate. I guess everyone has their own quirks. You just have to find the people who have the same quirks as yourself.

Been There, Done That

If you haven't seen 'Shallow Grave' I recommend you see it. Its very funny and typical of trying to find a new flatmate.

Phoenix Moves Out

Because of various problems Aneirin is no longer doing 'Aneirin's Den' and because it parallels IAPW so much, I have inherited his scripts. So from now on IAPW and Aneirin's Den will be on and the same thing. Anyway, Phoenix is moving in with us for a bit, so its rather cramped over here at the moment. Now, Arc, Apollo and Kan have to find someone to fill in the open space in their own apartment.

Also Aneirin is colouring and writing scripts for IAPW from now!

Taste Sensation

This strip should have been aired about six months ago while Wai was still young and being hand fed. This strip is a little out of date now as she can feed herself. But I guess I could have been letting her taste one of my experimental culinary concoctions (I don't think anyone will call it 'food').

Crunchy Dreams

I really did dream about breaking my mobile phone - though I don't have one (I used to have one). Yet I had this dream, though in the dream I had a phone with an attachment that allowed me to access the internet and it had a long ungainly and paper-thin antenna which I snapped off and was very releaved when I woke up and found it was only a dream.

Try The Obvious Solution

Normally when turning off the alarm you press the button on the top, hold it for a few seconds and it shuts off, only nothing happened, the alarm was still going. So if in doubt, you do the next obvious thing and take the battery out. Problem solved!

Do You Smell Smoke?

Another strip based literally on real life events. I was in the kitchen cooking and the smoke detector went off, which was weird because I *wasn't* burning anything! (for once) But the alarm was going nuts even though Aneirin thought the battery was dead.

How Not To Wash Without A Shower

Budger suggested this one and while I was clean afterwards I was missing most of my hair, floof and skin. I guess this is a payback strip for the bathbomb at the end of 2001.

Crunch Shower

Our shower really has broken. Its leaking water into the kitchen below and the drain is pretty much backed up. Aneirin's dad has come over to replace the cracked shower base with a solid concrete one so hopefully it will last alot longer than the previous one, even for a huge over weight dragon like myself.

Happy New Year

Here is to the New Year in 2003, hopefully it will be a great year! Lots of things happening this year. Wai will be starting school, I'm going to try working on other projects, Lots of artwork work coming soon and Aneirin will be writing IAPW with me. So have a safe an happy new year everyone and let it be a good one!

Seasons Greetings to everyone who follows 'In A Perfect World'. Thank you all for your support over the past year. IAPW has been running for over a year and a half and have 150 strips in its series. The Girls Go Shopping

Kaa, being a dragon, has no concept of what money is, except that she knows if she has enough of these shiny little round things she can exchange them for larger shiny things or things for her amusement. This is something Wai has picked up on too. While dragons are not exactly materialistic they do love their possessions.

Meet Santa Claws

We've always wondered about those Santa grottos. All our childhood we're told not to talk to strangers and then our parents make us sit on the lap of a strange big hairy man. Not to mention he looks bigger in real life than he does on TV. Aneirin and I have both decided Santa is just too scary for little kids and is only a cheap gimmick parent use to control their kids: 'Santa only visits kids who are good!'. Wai's response to this is 'I don't want to be good mommy!' They didn't mention this in the parenting books.

Don't you hate it when you can't think of gifts for everyone, or more accurately when you have someone you can't think of a gift for? Well my father is like that. And no, I didn't buy him lingerie.

Christmas Shopping prt 1

This is Wai's first Christmas and she has learnt fast that Christmas means presents And whats worse is she wants one of those Barbie Repunsel plush dragons that talk. As cute as it is its constant talking will drive Aneirin and I up the wall within a week.

Same But Different

Its taken a month to get used to living in England, with its strangeness and similarities. Although I'm a little homesick, I am enjoying myself immensely here and little Wai is loving it hugely.

Somewhere Out There

It was only a matter of time before the Talking Scales resurfaced again - I though I got rid of that thing with the hard rubbish collection a couple of months ago.
