Crunching Things Again\r\n\r\nEver since I got to England I have broken a lightglobe, a rubber broom, a hotwater tap and I'm sure I've blown up a flatmate's PC just be being in the same room as it. meeeep! And all this was in one week. I'm too scared to touch anything anymore.

Stomp Stomp Devistation\r\n\r\nA friend of mine bought MechAssault for the Xbox and we spent many enjoyable hours playing it on multiplayer. Its easy to play with lots of Mechs to chose from and almost everything on the maps is destroyable to some degree. Lots of fun for those who love big stompy tanks and blowing things up.\r\n\r\nPS Yes 'Stomp Stomp Devistation' is from LD5, but its also a joke on 'Dance Dance Revolution' and seems appropriate for MechAssault.

Little Gargoyle Prt 2\r\n\r\nI guess being a mother means ihave to put up with some strange things from Wai, but it also means I have to come up with some methods of dealing with them. I mean the last thing we need is for Wai to be rampaging around the apartment after the sun goes down. But I love doughnuts. They are a cure-all from depression to lonliness to daughters who think they are gargoyles.

Little Gargoyle Prt 1\r\n\r\nOne of the things which continuously amuses me is how Wai comes up with these strange phases all the time, based on things she reads or sees on tv. Forever wondering what she's going to come up with next week. Hardest part about this is keeping a straight face whenever she comes up with something new.

Gallen's Diabolical Plan Prt 1\r\n\r\nUm I dunno what the story is with Gallen and Mega Tokyo but I just smile and let him rant.

Guy Falks Night\r\n\r\nAll the weeks leading up to Fireworks Night, every night you could hear the sound of fireworks and crackers going off. On the night of Guy Falks Night (november 4th) it was like World War III, rockets, crackers, bangers and fireworks of all descriptions and colours were going off in the sky. You could smell gunpowder everyehere. It was an amazing night.

Explosive Luggage\r\n\r\nThe other problem with a 20kg luggage allowance is if you're staying over seas for two years you want to take as much of your life with you. What would you take? And all of it nearly didn't fit into the suitcase! The suitcase was bulging! Luckily it exploded when we got home and not before!

Baggage Handler\r\n\r\nWe have a 20kg luggage allowance, and I used it all. My suitcase weighed just over 20kgs so it was hard to carry around let alone for someone to try to snatch it - which happens at airports.

Damn I'm Tired\r\n\r\nWhere does Wai get the energy?? I was dead tired by the time we got to Heathrow Airport, momentum was the only thing that was keeping my moving and curiosity was the only thing that prevented my from falling over. All through the long wait at Immigration Control, then to baggage collection and out into Arrivals lounge. It was just an awesome feeling of achievement and elation to make it all the way back to England.

Airline Souvenir\r\n\r\nTwenty-six hours of flying is boring. There isn't much to do and when you can do things you simply don't feel up to it. At least Wai was full of inquisitive energy which kept her in mischief for most of the flight, to the flight crew's chagrin.

At The Airport\r\n\r\nIts pretty emotional saying your goodbyes to your parents when you're flying overseas for two years. While I'll still be in email contact I miss my parents. Nonetheless we were going off on our great adventure and full of energy.

Intermission\r\n\r\nIAPW is offline for all of October to give me time to adjust to England and settle into my new home with my beloved mate Aneirin. Its also a chance to take a break and think up some new story ideas for the next season. See you all in November!

When You've Succeeded - Quit While You're Ahead\r\n\r\nYay finally I'm back to my normal self. I have had a bit of criticism that I seem to be sending the message we all need to be skinny which is the social norm. Actually, no, I'm trying to send the message of healthier habits are more benificial to you in the long run. In Real Life, I'm more overweight now than I was in University, but then I got lots of exercise running up and down stairs from class to class and engaged in sports with my friends. I always slept well and had plenty of energy. The past three years of work, I have been constantly tired and lethargic from lack of exercise. By doing exercises I might not lose my belly but I'll have stronger muscles, longer lasting stamina and be happier and healthier than if I don't. Simple as that.

Easy Way To Jog\r\n\r\nOk, caught out by catching a taxi to do the jogging for me. Have you ever tried jogging? It doesn't really do much for you and it tires you out very quickly. Swimming is a better alternative but I wouldn't be caught dead at the local public pool. Cycling is excellent exercise and you get to pretend you're flying too (I love the wind in my face!) as well as get to see some wonderful scenery and enjoy the sunshine and fresh air.

Not So User Friendly\r\n\r\nI know how to get my own back at these scales! But the problem is the floorboards tend to creak and groan so I best not do it too much.

Talking Scales\r\n\r\nBeware buying talking scales on discount prices. You may very well get a set just like these. I thought my PC was obnoxious but these scales take the cake.

I Have To Beg Now\r\n\r\nHow humiliating. I have a 'Don't Feed The Dragon' sign around my neck which I have to wear so I can't go begging for food. Actually dieting isn't the right way to lose weight. A correct diet is far more benificial, one with low calorie intack and high in carbohydrates as well as lots of exercise. Someone has hidden my Xbox! Oh well, I'll have to go cycling instead.

Call Out The Search Parties\r\n\r\nThis is one of Aneirin's inspirations. The thought of sending in a rescue party to stop me from being lost in the doughnut section is an interesting picture. The hardest part of this comic was actually drawing the supermarket.

We Shall Remember\r\n\r\nIts been a year since the tragic incident at the World Trade Building in New York. And while America is in mourning, Many other countries, including my own, Australia, share with them in their remembrance. This didn't just affect America but it has affected the whole world. We all stand together as we remember those who were lost.

Bellying Up\r\n\r\nThis has happened to me recently. Trying to find out how much weight I've have gained the past year I had to lean right back to get my belly out of the way. I used to be able to stand straight, look down and see my toes! Thats the problem with good food, lots of it and sitting around behind a PC all day for three years.

The Fat Tickles You\r\n\r\nAneirin suggested this ages ago but I didn't think he was serious about me doing it. Course he only suggested it for his own amusement. Though this is not recommended, as these machines don't help you lose weight and could be damaging in the long run.

Minds Eye\r\n\r\nyes I admit, all those doughnuts, bottle of coke, salt & vinegar pringles, bars of chocolate and total lack of exercise has finally caught up with me. Over the last year I have put on an extra 10Kg of weight and my height can't hide my bulging belly anymore. I'm one fat dwaggie - and I'm not carrying twins this time! Dr Barker confirmed I'm not pregnant again (phew!) but he did recommend that I start eating more balanced meals, less junk food, and to get more exercise.

Engrish\r\n\r\nThis is a real lighter! It actually says that on the case! I bought it for two dollars from 'the Reject Shop' and it wasn't until later that it somehow found its way into Zerowing's pocket. Zerowing, who belives he speaks perfect English, has a huge collection of Japanese-to-English translations gone awry, a small mecca to Japan's greatest gift to the Western nations since Evangelion and Sushi: Engrish.

The Birthday Party\r\n\r\nIts my birthday tomorrow and everyone is invited. Hopefully I have managed to draw everyone in here somewhere... Big Babysitter part 2\r\n\r\nYes, well, apart from having to wash ear wax our of her fur, Wai has become some sort of conscience for Vitro. Maybe all our consciences are little furry dragons sitting in our ears telling us what to do. Somehow I doubt it.

Big Babysitter part 1\r\n\r\nIs it really safe to let a huge three story tall dragon look after your six month old child? Actually Vitro is very gentle and wouldn't hurt anyone shi is told not to eat. Besides, Vitro is a walking play gym and is great with kids. (On another note: the couch's name is Calvin)

Ok, So I'm Being Lazy!\r\n\r\nThe truth is I'm having trouble finding the time and energy to do my comics. Now that I'm not working I have too much time on my hands and its being wasted by not organising myself properly or feeling up to doing my art. But now I realize I have two months to organise my trip to England, and only two weeks to research and apply for my Visa. I have to get off my lazy tail and get things organised.

Blackout\r\n\r\nCan't do much without power. This is a good excuse to not have to draw anything. Hmmmm .. very convenient. Ok This weeks comics are cop-outs so I wouldn't have to draw - call it a Lame Weekend. This is for this week only and decent comics will be coming on time from now on (until October when there will be no comics for the whole month - thats when I'll be going to England YAY!)
