Life is strange. Sometimes it can be harsh and unforgiving, while other times it can show an abundance of compassion. Sometimes it comes around by your own hand. At a time when we were both going through troubling times, Storm and I found comfort in each other's friendship. Neither of us knew what it would grow into. Both of us were very lost and alone. But together, we found company, peace and understanding. And most importantly: love. I love you Storm. I love you more each day we're together. I am always with you.

A commission for Mandarax where he is really getting into his favourite war-time strategy games. I thought it would be amusing and cute to draw him in a semi-toony form, which I think turned out really well.

A few weeks before I finished this picture, my little brother, Gal, came to me. 'Hey, Ara, guess what? It's our anniversary! We've been brothers for two years!' I consulted my records. 'Um, Gal, I've only known you since the start of 1998. That's just about a year and a half.' So this is the first anniversary of AraKaraath and Gallen having been reunited as brothers. Here, AraKaraath and Gallen go over their photo album together, reminiscing over all the good times they've had together. Happy Anniversary, little brother. May this be the first of many happy years together. A big hug to you, my little One.

Morning Shadowwulf is a Cerberus who asked to do a art exchange with me. I've never drawn a Cerberus before and I'm pleased how this one turned out.

I met Myst on the net as he was looking for half-dragon images. He asked me to draw a portrait of him. So I did. This is the first of my '98Gen colour images.

I met NachtWulf briefly and got to know him enough to want to do this picture for him, but vanished soon after with no explanation or comment. I have no idea what has become of him.

Over the few years that I've known her, I've watched Nala grow from a frigthened creature of the street, to a bright, intelligent young woman she is today. Here, I hope I captured her defiant spirit, and graceful animal beauty. Love you, Nala!

Nambucca Heads Cows

Nambucca Heads is a quaint little place just north of Sydney. The story is that an acquaintance told his younger sister that the cows there had two heads and after seeing two cows standing behind one another, believed him. After hearing this I had to draw it.

Merry Christmas 2008

Wish you all a wonderful Christmas and a safe and awesome New Year.

I know many of you will be visiting family and friends and to you, I bid you safe travels and happy times. Those of you who will be alone this Christmas, my hearts go out to you and I give you lots of hugs and Christmas pudding.

Thank you, everyone, for your comments and support over the past year. I really appreciate it.

I'm hoping next year will be an ripper year with a more assertive, driven and less apathetic dragon which hopefully will mean more art, a new job and new direction for my life.

NeraG'heTal is a legend of a strange three-headed nomadic Dragon of infinite wisdom and age. Aravaan has a star constellation named after en. How NerraG'heTal came about is unknown.

It's hard to explain who or what NerraG'neh is, so I'm not going to try. Lets just say en was originally two separate people who loved each other so much, they merged together like this.

When Storm was going through times of severe depression, AraKaraath was there to lend comfort. Their bond of love was strengthened during these times when they leaned upon each other for support. I drew this picture when Storm was very depressed. It was all I could do to tell him that no matter how hard life became, he was never alone. I would always be there to reach out to him and hold him. Such is true in life. Sometimes joy shared is joy doubled, while sorrow shared is sorrow halved. The real applications of love are where comforts can be found. Our lives will never be easy, Storm, my Love. But together we can endure. Together we will never be alone.

I honestly don't know where this came from. But it seemed like a good idea at the time.

This picture is based on the idea of a huge non-flying dragon going home to England... well how else would you do it? course he has to hitchhike. NO drinks or food out there though!

A late birthday pressie for Tyron where he is relaxing in the late afternoon sun after a long day of sentry duty. This picture was not intended to be erotic, but entering into the intimacy of someone who is totally relaxed... but is he? he seems wary still...

In kHrol'Gah belief, when two souls meet and mesh perfectly, they become locked together, becoming one soul. AraKaraath and Xander take that one step further. In their love, they share everything. And ultimately, a body. This picture, is more symbolic than actual, Ara and Xander together sharing a single form, in perfect balance and harmony, represents the similarities and union they share in real life.

One thing I find really enjoyable is to cuddle up with someone you love. Here Ara and Storm relax in each other's company. Such feeling of comfort and contentment and trust in each otheThis is my funny idea of what having a family is like. When (and if) Storm and I have a family, he is going to have a littler of dragon pups, not unlike this one. Life with four or more pup is going to be interesting, as you can see here. I worked out that combining out basic traits; horn, skin colour, stripes (dependant upon blue-fur skin), hair and gender, there is a possible 24 different combinations of traits. So we can have 24 different children and be able to tell them apart uniquely. Christmas will be hell though with 24 children.r is shown as Storm slumbers quietly in his lover's arms. I love you, Storm. I'm always with you.

FireEyes has been telling me about her little dragon brother Phantom, and it was a long while until we finally met. He instantly adopted me as his brother (because I am FireEyes's brother). I must admit I happily adopted him too, embracing him with the same love I share with all my brothers and sisters. This is my first picture of Phantom, mainly based upon portraits done by FireEyes. Although Phantom is not truly anthro as I drew him here, he fits into the anthro form well. This is how I see him. Phantom himself is also an artist so check out his webpage sometime soon!

I cant remember exactly for what reason Phantom badgered me to do this picture of himself and his girlfriend Paccula. But I do remember I had a deadline and just had it finished in time.

This is Phantom and Ara happily playing together. ('Awwww... ain't that soooo cyte!' as FireEyes would say.) This picture is my first piece for Phantom containing both of us. When Phantom asked me to draw this picture, he was surprised when I told him I was already working on it. Indeed, it was already being sketched when he asked. Perhaps Phantom is one of AraKaraath's long lost brothers... but then again, in the kHrol'Gah custom, any adopted siblings into the family are treated as if they were blood relatives. Whichever, he's my brother. A BIG HUG for my little brother Phantom!

For a long while Phantom has been perstering ]:=8} me to draw him a picture of himself and his boyfriend Telknor. So i finally worked on this picture for Phantom's birthday. I have known both Phantom and Telknor for a while and have watched their love for each other grow. It's a beautiful thing to witness the dawning of love, the moment Phantom told Telk how much he loved him and then Telk returning the love... It's like re-living the moment when you told your own lover how much you loved them for that first time and they realised that they are loved by you.

AraKaraath maintains one tradition from his kHrol'Gah heritage: the exchanging of Bonding Rings. In kHrol'Gah fashion, he wears a ring around his upper arm to signify he is in a committed relationship. Here he gives an identical ring to his lover StormWalker as a token of his love and dedication to Storm. I wear this ring in real life, and hopefully one day, I can have two proper rings made, each in bronze and engraved in the kHrol'Gah style. One for me to wear, the other for him... This picture is was my way of saying to Storm that I am dedicated to him, heart and soul.
