This is the sequel picture to The Pledge, where Storm has accepted AraKaraath's pledge of commitment and the bond between them is truly formed. Played out in Real Life, when I asked Storm if he would accept me as his mate, if he would wear my Bonding Ring to commemorate our dedication to each other, he said 'YES!'. It was a very special moment for both of us, where we finally realised how much we belonged together, how so alike we are, how much we needed each other.

Dragon Gods: Quetzelcoatl

Here is the first of twelve pictures of the dragon Gods. They are the first dragons to come to Earth and thus made significant impressions upon the primative human populous.

This is Quetzelcoatl, ruler of the jungles and forests of south America where he dominated the Aztec people. Quetzelcoatl was a harsh ruler and had a cruel nature. He often demanded human sacrifices. Not well liked, and definitely not trusted amongst the Twelve, he was nonetheless powerful and influential in the Council Circle.

Originally a sketch to explore a new way for drawing stylised digigrade legs but ended up as another full sketch complete with elaborate markings.

In memory of Graham Kennedy, who recently died at the age of 71. He has been a pioneer in Australian Television, bringing many years of laughter and entertainment to millions around the country. He truely is the King of Australian Television. Long live the King.

Rebecca was Aria's first human friend. She comforted him as he recovered from illness and fatigue. Here, Aria found a love and friendship that would see them through many dangers and adventure as they journeyed across Australia.

I drew this picture to celebrate Reiji and Keith's second anniversary. Ive known Reiji for three years now as she was my first online friend, and the one who got me interested in furry and dragon art on the internet. I am in debt to her so much. And I've seen her fall in love with Keith and heard all about him (its fun to see ppl you care about fall in love). I truly hope they go on like this forever,

Reiji asked me to do a cute picture for her so i came up with this chibi version of herself playing amongst the flowers. And yeh, i forgot the fur. Sorry sweetie!

Recently DreamDancer came down sick with a fever right in hte middle of his studies for university. All the while we were in different countries but I felt like I was with him, right beside him, all through his illness. (happily, he is better now)

This was an earlier version of Jen and Ryal where they look older, perhaps mid to late teens. While this isnt quite the right age I had in mind for them they still look like a cute and adorable couple.

Jen and Ryal are a fun loving pair or dragons. They are of undetermined age and sex and are Wai's best friends, spending alot of time together. Little else is known about them except that Jen is excitable while Ryal is thoughtful. Jen loves running around playing games while Ryal loves reading books.

Sam and Max is probably the best thing to happen to Comics books anywhere, not to mention the best Adventure game to come out of Lucas Arts and was a brilliant cartoon on TV. Here is a little tribute to the duo with Ara and Aneirin dressed up as them. This picture was half finished when news that Lucas Arts was canning the new Sam and Max game which is the reason for the little blurb at the bottom. Maybe I should put differnt text on it:

Max: "Hey, can I bite their heads a little bit?"

Sam: "Sure, little buddy. Knock yourself out! Just don't go catching anything from them."

A picture requested by my brother, Gallennon, of his two sides, San (dragon) and Yu (oscelot). For a long while he has struggled to decide if his character is feline or dragon in nature until I suggested he could be both. And here they both stand.

Sarah Blackmane is probably the main reason i became a furry. When i first got into the furry scene in 1995, Sarah was one of hte most intriguing characters i ever found, but material for her was lacking as i could not find much on her. In recent times i met Dana Rogers another cojoined fur who introduced me to Sarah. I was exctatic! 'THE Sarah Blackmane??!' hehehe shi is sort of an idol to me.

Searo was originally a single headed dragon but after spending some time with Kaa and Ga, he divided himself in a similar fashion much to everyone's enjoyment.

Merry Christmas

Wishing you all a safe and merry Christmas holiday. This is a time to focus on friends and family and enjoying time together with our loved ones, even those of us who are far apart. May your Christmas time be filled with fun and love and joy.

Sixpaws galloping and frolicking in the park on a sunny spring day. Sixpaws is one of the most complicated 'taurs I've wanted to draw. All those legs! And shi gives great hugs too!

A sexy huntress with her eyes fixed .. on you! Another picture exploring a new style of drawing legs but ended up being a full picture. I normally belive reptile females wouldnt have breasts but this is an exception. Consider it Fanservice. (yipe!yipe!yipe!)

I wanted to draw a picture of Aneirin and Ara curled up together in bed. This just came to me as i was laying awake one night. I draw it quickly the next day and the sketch was perfect...

Wai's Slumber Party

For Wai's Fifth birthday she had a slumber party and invited her friends over. There were games and party pies and sausage rolls and, of course, the obligitory pillow fight and much fun was had by all.

Yet another piccie is the 'baby characters' series, this time with Spekky and his huge plush croc. All together now, AWWWWWWWWWWW! I would so love a plush croc like that.

My early impression of Sphelx who later told me he is more of a Komodo dragon lizard rather than a gekko lizard. Which is a pity cos I think he is cuter like this and it suits his personality.

Another picture of Sphelx drawn more like a Komodo Dragon type reptile. I still don't have him right and am not really satisfied with it... But Sphelx loves it so that makes me happy.

Now introducing the range of Series 2 of the Budger Retro Collectable toys. There were so many ideas and so little time to do them all I've had to spread them over two series.

Spring

In my youth, the changing of the seasons was something special, it was always something new. Especially the ending of Winter and the warming to Spring. Here, Wai and friends enjoy the first warmth of the coming Spring when the snow melts and the cold retreats and the outdoors is inviting again.

This picture give me mixed reactions. I rushed it and I think it looks horrible. The texturing is good, I like that, but the characters were rushed. It didn't help that all three together was not easy to draw in the first place. The StormChaser is a sleek cloudship that AraKaraath built. She's powered by two kHrol'Gah gravity-lifter and has two sets of sails, one above and one below the hull. Originally this picture was to be set upon a mountain range, but I figured I've done enough portraits 'sitting on the mountain watching the world go by'. So I set it aboard the StormChaser from a scene from the story I'm writing 'Dragonforge'.

I love Storm. I never tire of drawing him. I drew this picture when I was pining for his company. We had not talked for a long while and I missed him terribly. So I drew him to be close to him. It's only a rough pen sketch, but I hope it captures his warmth and friendliness. All my love with you, Storm...

Recently, Storm was deciding what other forms suited his personality. One of these included a gryphon form. Here is my version of him in gryphon form. I've never drawn a gryphon before and this required a bit of research. It was a concept sketch so its in greyscale and is missing finer details such as feather markings etc. The next version would have greater detail.

StormWalker and AraKaraath have formed a special bond; a special friendship. They are both the same in many ways, including their desire for justice and freedom for all beings. This picture was drawn as a display of Ara and Storm's similarities and strengths. Indeed, the same outline model was used for both Ara and Storm. They are mirror images of each other (except for personal features, weapons, clothes, etc) I am with you, my friend. Beside you all the way. I am glad you are at my side also.
