The scan of this does NO justice to the original. I did it on a piece of thin cardboard and it looks GREAT RL, but it jsut didn't scan as well. I went in and tried to correct the colors, but it really didn't help. Ah well. :P

Wow. This was an interesting experiment.

I had doodled this (http://www.fallenangel.furtopia.org/ART/AR-phoenix63-s.gif) at work. I was sad, because I'd drawn it in pen and pretty much mutilated it.

But I had an idea! Since I have Flash 5 now, I can easily and quickly ink stuff. But what to do after that? I hate coloring in Flash. But I finally figured out how to save images as .PNGs and such. So I inked and saved and THEN ported it over to Streamline. Where I went about my usual business and this was born.

I quite like having this option for images I've all but destroyed. Yay. <3

Because I don't do enough fanart of ANYONE and because Neogeen is so fantastic. Indeed. I'd been meaning to do a pic of her for awhile now, but I didn't think her character design would translate well in my style. But today I said 'screw it! i'm gonna try anyhow!'. So I sketched this up on openCanvas, fiddled with it in Streamline and did a quick, flat coloring job on it. Weeoo. I really love how it came out, though. < 3

I also blame this on ths massive amounts of techno and other goodness she's been sharing lately. <3<3<3

This is NOT A SKETCH! It's supposed to look messy and unkempt. :D

Regardless, it's the Keepie beast. Someone broke/exploded an ink pen at work last night and left it on my table, so I made good use of it by doing this. I didn't inted on the funny 'running eyeliner' effect under the one eye, but when I placed a piece of paper over it, to try to soak up some of the excess ink, it caused that effect when I moved it. Not that I'm complaining. :3

Her wings are wrong, though.

This has been cleaned up ALOT from the original iRL. There's ALOT of nitpicks, too. Gwen's hair is too dark (it's supposed to be light gray with blue tips), her nose is crooked. The BG behind Angel wasn't supposed to be blue, and it blends in with the shirt too much. Ange's shirt is pretty fugly, too. Phe's the only one I really like, although the scanner ate her beigh colored markings. They look slightly yellow now. But, for all the bitching, it's pretty nice. One of the few traditional media things I've done and been somewhat happy with. This is all markers. A combination of Prismacolors, colored Sharpies and Crayolas and 2-4 hours at work. Wheefun.

Ciseal for the faboo Vics. Pretty quick coloring job, but then I didn't plan on doing anything spectacular with this. I might go back an put some more shading into it, but I don't know. I forgot to shade the webbing on the bat-like wings, but ah well.

My god, I'm FINALLY making the transition over to Photoshop. I've been using Painshop Pro 5 for years now, cause it's easy to use and doesn't lag the hell out of the computer. But Photoshop 7 seems to be working quite well for me. And after doing the Colossal Con logo in PS, I wanted to play with it more. So I finally colored this pic of No for the faboo Loish over at DeviantART, cause I'd been browsing her gallery lately. I'm really happy with how this turned out. <3<3
