Spazz's damn spots are such a pain! I really need to learn to draw rosettes myself, so I don't have to rely on brushes and making gradients look decent. D:

But, I like how these have come out, even if the Arphalia one is a little plain (and I didn't know what color his eyes were at the time!). I realized I only shaded the hair in most of these, so I'll have to go back and add a bit of shading elsewhere. I'm a tard. XD

anthrosketchxch-itstheoutkast

My secret santa pick for the anthrosketchxch this month. Everyone picked people who hadn't been accepted into the community and drew gifts for them. It was pretty fun, but I had to wait until they were all posted on Christmas to post mine anywhere!

This is for ~theoutkast. I hope she likes it, I hemmed and hawed over what to draw, but I think she came out pretty.

one in a million

Something of Phe and Kyle, since I never draw them together. I still think there's some things off about it, but it's nothing so garish that I don't like it. I tested out that wacky color background thing, cause I usually do just white backgrounds with a generic shape to fill it in. I kinda like it but I'm not sure if it's too much brown. Hm.

Something cute of a young Phoenix. Probably junior high age. She looks alot different and much fresher and innocent. She probably would've had her ears pierced, but I just forgot to add them.

Yes, she dyes her hair. Dark brown is her natural color. The red is from a bottle. :3

november has come

I'm FINALLY finished with this. I went through some hemming and hawing about her outfit colors. I wasn't sure if there was TOO MUCH red. So I consulted my GF and she said that the red shirt and such were good, since she's a mostly dark colored creature. I like how her hair came out. I'm really not used to doing that type of highlight, though. So I'm not sure if they stand out too much or just don't match my style? The rune on her shirt has no real meaning, but it is colored blue for protection. I forgot her fang/bullet necklace. So let's assume it's hiding out of sight under her shirt. The gold necklace I may go back and tweak. There's a arcane circle pattern on it and it didn't show as much as I'd like.
