My half of a trade with NinjaWeasel of his fursona, Whinge, a very thin rat. :) I enjoyed coloring this and working with the purple values and trying to match his colors as closely as possible. I had some trouble coloring the jacket....I tried to go for the leather look without turning it into vinyl XD I really like his belly. It reminds me of concrete with how solid it appears. HEHEe *tickle tickle*
I'm very pleased with the final coloring and hope he is also ^_____^
I noticed that (his) left foot and toes are slightly chunkier than the other :/

My half of the trade with Beefyrae
I really enjoyed working on this and I couldn't wait to color her tail. I wanted the lady Rae to be the feature of the drawing and created a sort of throne for her. I tried to make this as special as possible for her because I want her to know that she is a really great person. She has always been friendly to me and she has a GREAT sense of humor.
I think her feet are a tad too large in comparison to her head, but aside from that I'm very pleased with the outcome ^___^

Badge for SarahSilver to wear to Camp Feral as my half of our badge trade.
Patches is a calico anthro. I really liked drawing and coloring this character, and this is the first time I've done dreads.
I took some creative liberties with her collar. I kept it black but added the rainbow prism-like jewel there to complement her tank top.
The yellow in the space above her head is neon yellow and very radiant. The blue inside "Patches" is not as dark as it appears here.

I hope you like your badge, Jocelyn ;) I had alot of fun working on it - and have fun at Camp Feral!!

I cannot draw skulls or bones or dead things very well, but for the first time drawing a cat skull, I'm not complaining.
The background is prismacolor marker and the grey colors do stand out better than in this scan. Was goin for a hazey, cloudy sky theme, lol.
Now I gotta attach the two back to back and laminate the last two badges at work ^___________^

I loved coloring her hair, especially with how highly held it is. Most characters don't really style their hair that way, so I find it very unique. I did a purple and pink theme for her :)

I really loved doing this one because it was a front shot of a horse face, and because this is the only equine badge of the lot ^___^ aaaaaaand because Aurora is a very special friend of mine. I'm going to meet him for the first time and blah blah presents and raaaar *chomp* ^_^

This was really fun to draw, color and finish up. My scanner wasn't able to pick up the yellows and greens of her skin.....there's much much more dimension in color than what you see here. Her "hair" was a kick to do too.

I almost gave up on this one several times.....mainly because of her hair. I made it too black and left no space for highlights......so recruited my white gel pen. The gel pen had to layered atleast 7 times to look remotely white. I learned not to do that much black again
Kyoushi is a very cheerful character who likes lingerie and sexy undies.

Gift badge for mister coooooooniiiiiiiiiiiiie, Glaide ;) Gonna see him again next month so I made him a badge this year. He's kinda well known for wearing a jester's hat and lugging around a giant pixie stick, but this time he didn't want something of that theme. A long time ago he told me he loves water, and swimming so I added a splash behind him. I was going to have him in water from the waist down but I have yet to figure out my own blending technique for a body reflecting and visible under water with colored pencils. So......stare at his DAS UBER MOOSLES instead XD

I know you're wondering what the crap is behind her badge. It's a towel XD Just a backdrop.
This is a gift badge for Frisket. I haven't completed any of the art I've wanted to do for her, and since AC is coming up and I'm going to probably see her again, I wanted to bring a present 8D
Layered alot of yellow and goldenrod and sepia and terra cotta and *inhales* black. XD I reaaallllly like how her hair turned out. It doesn't look shiny, but the blending of colors look fine to me ^.^ There is a flamingo pendant hanging off her collar (I love flamingos too), and the shape behind her is a larger version of her markings.

Recently she seemed to be unable to attend AC afterall, and I felt cummy because my hands were tied financially to help...but things seem to have worked out and now she will be there. I'm very eager to meet her finally after these few years.
This is one of her characters, Antimatter, a luck dragon demon who changes colors according to mood.
The bandaids on her boobie are silver as well as her necklace and piercings.
I'm very pleased with this badge in its final look.

I was kinda nervous the entire time coloring this because of the yellows.......yellow isn't that easy to shade and highlight sometimes. I really like the hair the most ^___^ I used two different reds, a salmon red and this blackish brown red color.
The text looks crazy LOL...... I used a metallic purple/silver pen to outline it and the very edges of the actual ink color are surrounded by that thin thin thin purple. I love it XD. I figured leaving part of the BG behind her white would bring her out a bit better.

This is a badge for Abyssinian-Ran.
I'm very pleased with this after 5 hours of work. She saw the sketch before I started coloring, and I'm on badge high to get some made as presents for people I'm going to see next month.
Anywafer.....this one is over 3.5x2. I picked at her ref. sheet of this character and saw a note about an ankh tattoo with wings so I wanted to include that, and since this isn't a back view, I did a little mini combo in the corner there. No, not a mcdonalds combo.

I completely turned this badge around (no I didn't spin it around, HA-HAaa) XD...because when I first started coloring the orange of his fur, I was using 3 different oranges plus brown, black and red and it didn't seem to look right to me and I got discouraged but I ignored myself and kept layering brown and black to mute the eye-burning oranges down a tad. I tried complimenting his character with the colors of his name but then the letters were hard to read.
Last year at Anthrocon, he didn't come find me so this year he has an excuse to come and talk to me. If ya want yer badge, I'll give it to you via hand transfer sooo Nyaaa :P

Gift for Lady Rebecca aka Maned Husky :D I'm very pleased with the color outcome and the fur, and I tried to draw her character Kaimelar just as she does.
This one is a tad smaller than the previous badges I've been doing, but it is a minimum 3.5 x 2" not including the diecuts :D There is silver goldleafing pen around the lettering. The color scan is almost just as the badge looks irl, save for a smidgen of truer blues and teal. I'm happy. I hope you like this badge Rebecca, and I'm eager to give it to you at anthrocon. (That sounded really perverse LOL ) You know what I meant XD

This is a gift for Angelwolf that I drew last week, and finished coloring recently. I wanted to make her something to cheer her up, and to help brighten her spirits.
The image is diecut also in the locations of the tips of the feet, her ears and top of the hair and the very tips of the wings by the edges of the sky-thingy. The bottom is rounded too.

I met Emilie at AC 04 and didn't even know she was one of the artists I had oogled here on the VCL.
We're going to be rooming together this Anthrocon, and I wanted to make her a little gift for when I see her again.

Another surprise con badge, this time for SilverWing
I hope to meet her at AC (if she is attending) so that I may give this to her in person, or mail it out in advance.
This took about four hours with a little extra time on cutting out the parts that you see extending past the badge edge. Her wing is outlined in silver (man what a play on words, silver wing! HAHA..... XD ) ........
When I scanned this I realized that I forgot to draw the sides of her glasses in so.....they look like purple matrix shades. I can fix it if she wishes, heh.

This is a surprise badge for Urban for Anthrocon this July
I haven't been in the mood for drawing.......but I really wanted to color with my colored pencils tonight. This took about 3 hours.
The ears are diecut off the top of the badge. I tortured my scanner heavily to match the colors as closely as possible, but even after that, this final scan isn't as vivid as the badge itself. Her shirt is a mixture of blue, blue green, and neon green. I think the yellows and greens will react to blacklight, but I have yet to test it. lol Her fur is hot pink mixed with "pink"......and her hair is neon red with cardinal red.

I worked on this all day while my dad was in the garage putting on my new brakes. My mom kept calling me and interrupting me, so I think I spent about 7 hours on this, I lost track @__@
I've been having trouble getting anything good drawn, and I know you're gonna say what in the crap am I talkin' about.
I'm pleased with this finished image. I cut it out of the sheet I colored on and made a few areas diecut.
I scanned it twice, once with my neon green tiger print hankerchief and again with just white. I couldn't decide which one to upload so I slapped em into one document and satisfied myself. (no not that way ) har har.
