This is the second gift for Huskie of her Balto character, Fly. I wanted to draw her anthro style.
I'm really content with this. Fly herself was done with colored pencils, with bits of highlights of silver-leaf pen. The background was done with pastels. The black surrounding the image is my scanner lid. The paper is diecut using my xacto knife and is cut around the tip of her tail and feet so they hang off the paper. I cut out the letters of a printed sheet of the word "Fly" and made a stencil, then brushed glitter glue over the open spaces.
I think this took me over 7 hours stretched over three days.

I've been working on this one for hours. I was mistaken when I thought Maera was the oldschool version of Huskie's character, Whitepawz. I had already begun coloring her in with the respective colors of Whitepawz. I have no idea what Maera's colors are XD I kinda chose the colors based off the slate blue and went with a sunrise red and purple theme.
I'm very content with this finished image, and I hope Huskie can overlook the incorrect coloring of her character. XD
