This badge was a treat to do because I rarely get to draw a more human appearance to the face of a character that is part snow leopard. I'm very happy with the coloring of the hair and body. I didn't realize that the strand of hair runs under her clothing in the front until it was too late to fix it. XD
Her coat pattern is a mixture of runes and snow leopard spots.

Iskosian Undast

Iskosian is a male caracal mage with magical runes adorning his fur. I took some artistic liberty with their designs and placement. He is holding a staff behind his head.

I used the colors in the background to represent his natural talent with Earth spells.

I'm really pleased with this badge. I did something a little different and colored the hair in markers only, except for the white highlight and the faint shadow under her chin, which is colored pencil.

Blind

"I’m blind in my eyes, but I’m trying to see."

This is something I did for myself to keep busy while I was going home on Amtrak. The shaking of the train aided in making the lines rough.

Inspired by the song "After Me" by Saliva.

Sketched in mechanical pencil, then shaded with #2 lead pencil, on size 8.5 x 11 paper.
I modified the background in Photoshop to clean up dirt and added a little bit of gray to tone down the white behind the creature.

Rensis final

My half of an overdue trade with Mottenfest of his character, Rensis, in uniform.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with the final result of the coloring. It's been while since I've done something larger than a badge in traditional media ^^
The background is made up of watercolors covered over by a light wash of white acrylic paint applied with a sponge.

*Please take note: The offensive symbols of the uniform were replaced on his request and he does not support anti-Semitic views. The uniform was drawn just to be that, a uniform.

Anthrocon badge commission for Verm of his character, Ver'miir.

This one was a challenge, heh, mainly to blend the fire-like fur pattern. I didn't like the way the blue glow of his eyes looked blended in with the golden fur at first, but it started to grow on me as the badge was close to finished.
He requested for the text to be colored as shown.

I'm pleased and he likes it, so that's really all that matters at this point ^^

I was very eager to color this one, I admit, because of the vivid blue fur and spots 8D
The hair colors took some time to blend together, but everything on this badge turned out pretty close to the original sketch. I removed the little curl of hair behind her back so that the finished badge will fit in the laminate pouch. I also removed the feathers that were behind her tail since I felt it would have been too cluttered as the badge was "coming to life".

There's gold glitter pen in the upper left corner that sparkles much more than my scanner could show.
There was about 3-4 hours alone invested in the coloring of the brown (hair and fur) and both are comprised of about four layers of color. Overall, I am happy with it :)

I must say that this sketch worked out nicely from its draft stage; I am really happy with the pose and overall look of the sketch. I did use a reference for the raven parts of Jager's raven form. (Darlenewolfen's own character)

The draft had Lukoi's left foot showing over the tail, but I decided to pull the tail forward and hide it since it kinda looked awkward.

She requested that I include the music conductor's suit and a clarinet. What looks like a cape is actually her wings. I didn't want to hide the feathered part that rests on her shoulders under the suit.

I know there are bound to be errors on the details of the clarinet since the metal parts are so intricate, but I feel it's suitable for such a small image and I'm hoping the viewer can tell what type of instrument it is. XD

Teeka and G47 commission

Finished commission for Lysozyme of his character, Teeka and my character, Guyver47.

This took quite a while and worked on the coloring across three days in installments.

I have mixed feelings about the final product because this wasn't the original idea Lysozyme wanted and. I wasn't able to draw what he wanted exactly and also made him wait nearly 4 years for this final product. D8
After staring at this for hours, there are some errors I noticed.

I really do like the way Teeka looks, especially her figure. Overall, I'm very happy with the coloring and really like the way the blue lighting looks on both characters.
