I am really happy with this one, mainly because of the combination of colors this character has. Despite being angry, she still looks cute. :P

I have a tutorial started based on this chibi that I will upload at a later date when it is complete.

Curtis T. badge

Badge commission for osyris just in time for Sakura-Con.

Curtis T. is a plush raccoon that goes sight seeing and Osyris often posts the photos from his adventures. Curtis T. goes to Sakura-Con as an unofficial mascot and Osyris asked me to create a badge for him.

Drawing a plush was a challenge and doing the fur texture was a trial, but I'm very happy overall with this badge.

So, if you're going to Sakura-Con, you may see this badge and a certain plush raccoon.

Demisune vector chibi

This is Demisune, a kitsune character created by silverfolfen.

He has a dominant centralized red tail, so that's why it differs from the other eight.

Time out

Guyver47 in a "time out" - A tribute to a friend drawn several days ago.

G47's restraints symbolize being denied her romantic urges and the tentacles are representing that lustful feeling that is sometimes quite hard to ignore. She's definitely enjoying herself during this punishment.

I'm aware of the anatomy errors, but this was done very quickly on a whim, so I focused more on the fast strokes and shading. The beast in the lower right corner reminds me of some of the creepy things my friend draws.

Jade chibi

Vector chibi commission for Jadekat73 of her feline character, Jade.

A lot of work went into this one and I am quite happy to see it finally finished. The pattern for her dress was created through the LiveTrace option in Illustrator based on a Kimono print, however everything else was made custom for this commission, including the Sailor Jupiter inspired rose earrings, which were also referenced.

Kalika badge

Badge commission for http://www.furaffinity.net/user/kalikafutago of her lovely black leopard character.

She gave me the freedom to choose an outfit from her reference sheet, so I couldn't resist the one with the most red (even though there is only a small amount of it shown on the badge.)

What more can I say? I was able to meet her this year at Anthrocon, she's very kind and her art is too fantastic for words! 8D

Lunadea badge

I really enjoyed coloring this badge for Lunadea.
There is silver inside of her name, within the dark blue shapes, but my scanner doesn't pick up the shine very well.

Mottenfest badge

Badge commission for Mottenfest of his coyote character with a red winged black bird perched upon his finger.

I really enjoyed drawing his hair style and have never seen one like that before, with long hair on one side and short on the other.

Unfortunately, I didn't catch two corrections before I laminated the badge for Anthrocon, so Mottenfest asked if I could alter the digital file I scanned. The nose has had some minor reshaping and (his) right eye has been lightened.

Oeshar the black panther is ready for some golf. The gryphon logo in the background is actually his wife's character, Gryphon and she is also the cute little logo on Shar's polo shirt.

Tonberry 3.0 badge

Badge commission for osyris just in time for Sakura-Con.

I had to ask him to explain the idea behind this badge.
A Tonberry is a character from Final Fantasy that is very powerful in close combat, despite its size, and can bring down multiple opponents at once.
Osyris asked me to draw his plush Tonberry with glowsticks inserted into its hood and sleeves to represent long range energy beam attacks. The mighty Tonberry would become even more lethal if it had long range attacks.

This badge was very difficult to do because of the number of light sources, getting the glowsticks to look like they're glowing and to draw from a plush as reference.

Verm: Unknown badge

Badge commission for Verm of an alternate version of himself, called Unknown.

I really loved working on this badge from the sketching stage all the way through to the coloring. The glowing was a lot of work to do, but I really am happy with all of the coloring.

This is also the first badge that has absolutely no ink outlines for detail support.

This was going to be the mascot of my vector chibi tutorial and the do-it-yourself chibi I wanted to share for practice, but it was suggested that I make one even more simple than this. (The template that is available for download was created from this.)

Sooo this is VeCtor the red panda. She's so cute :D

This is a gift for Sharra in thanks for being a really wonderful friend through the years (and long distance to boot!), and offering her advice to me without complaint when needed.
Most recently she extended my Livejournal sub by a couple months when I couldn't do so myself, so I wanted to show my gratitude somehow.
