My good & evil sides don't look that different. you can get away with more that way ^_^

We walked to the bagel place near us this morning, and as we were ordering Sue said she knew she wouldn't like the cappuccino there because the machine looked "silly" and went "VRM VRM VRM" instead of (phlegm noise) "Chhht, Chhht".
I have no idea what she meant.
Doesn't she look cute in mittens? ^_^

Inspired by Pink Floyd "Keep Talking"

I always have trouble dealing with strangers. Sometimes I'll be somewhere with people I don't really know, or I'll be in a crowd in public, and I'll just feel like I'm drowning and I have to get away.

Experimenting with speedball dipped-ink pens and different nibs; came out pretty cool, and I only managed to drip on it 2 or 3 times (yay for white-out).

Why is Sue calling Amber a Meanie?

Sue's a gardener and a nature lover, and she has this beautiful purple butterfly bush in the back. It attracts all sorts of butterflies, especially monarchs. Then one day Sue noticed the bush had preying mantises, which she thought was really really cool... until she noticed them eating her butterflies (gasp of horror from the back row)!!! So when she saw Amber was a mantis, she was afraid Amber'd eat the butterflies.

*Note to self: do not draw, color, or write cute stories when waking up after no sleep on a Sat'day morning*

Spug was ranting to me about how she just finished yelling at a RPer who entered with the standard 'MAN FALLS OUT OF SKY' line, so the next time I IM'd her I wrote a big intro like this, and followed it with: Oh, I meant to say, DUCK FALLS OUT OF SKY LANDS NEXT TO YOU SAYS HI.

Spug laughed and told me I should draw it. Always do what Spug says.

I didn't realize how badly shrinking this down & transferring it to VCL had mangled this, so I'm trying it again, a little larger.

Ages ago when I was driving out east with Sue we saw a bunch of pure-black bunnies for sale, and ever since then I've wanted to get a black bunny and name it Satan, with a little collar & nametag & everything. Sue says she's afraid the bunny would turn out evil if we did that, but to be honest the idea of an evil bunny isn't all that threatening.

He hah he hoo *waaagh* *gasp*

I painted an art-decoish self portrait that I'm pretty proud of. My brother Daniel, to prove that I'm starting to look just like my fursona (feathersona?), colored one of my doodles and placed them side by side.

You know, I think he's right!!! Thanks Dan!

Just sent out the invites to our "Tropical Getaway in Winter" party! Wish you all could come!

Oh, and all you VCLer's: If your regular pen runs out, don't start inking with just anything; ink smears mixed in with your color pencils tend to spoil the colors :-(

I'm reading two books right now; the psychadelic and really cool 'Winter's Tale' by Mark Helprin (thanks Kelly!), and also 'the Gangs of New York'. Oddly, both feature the 19th century New York City gang "the Dead Rabbits". I've decided that that's a really cool name for a gang, and I had to draw it.

From now on I'm sending the Dead Rabbits after anyone who gets me goin' ^-^

I love my big Irish sweater; I don't know how anyone gets thru the winter without one like it...

This stupid cat was trying to chase squirrels behind our house, until the cat realized it had followed one too far up a tree, and froze. The squirrel it was 'chasing' then started jumping from branch to branch around the cat's head, just out of reach, teasing it! That'll show 'em!

My wife started calling me her 'little platypus', so I started teasing her about her 'chipmunk cheeks', with predictable results... ;-)

I've had a nasty stomach virus since Sunday... I feel like somethings pulling bits & pieces out of my guts. I keep telling myself if I can eat something solid I'll be OK, but that ain't happening...

Too many people getting fired at work lately. There's this petite woman who comes down from corporate to handle things every time someone gets fired; it's like she's the corporate angel of death or somethng. Here she is taking poor Shantrice from us. Come in #36, your time is up...
