Here's a dragon I doodled in Linear Algebra, then I liked how it looked so I inked it up and colored it.. Seeing Ajay Vargas's successes with cross-hatching made me want to try it myself. It was tedious, but I think I like how it looks!

Experimenting with new coloring styles and new hats. I think I really love this hat, but people always feel that way about new hats... You always think, "this hat is the one, i'll never need another hat"... but something always goes wrong with the hat.

A fish "inspired" by Puyo Puyo meets a bear "inspired" by a Depeche Mode song. He looks like a fish but he has beautiful man legs, which are good for running away from scary bears. Run fish run!

Purple dragon demon rides atop some kind of creepy-looking metallic beast. I made some really silly inking errors on the metal guy, so I covered up that mistake with a silly random stripe in the middle. It didn't look so bad, so I striped the whole guy. I think it helps the picture look a little less vanilla.

This purple guy needs a name, now that I've drawn him a few times and he's not uniquely identifiable as "the demon" or "the dragon" or anything easy like that. I'm trying to think of some playful name, like "Tambo" or "Dekko"... Ehhhh I'm sure I'll think of something.

Okay, that's enough diet. Now let me out of the box.

The fattest, ugliest thing I have ever drawn. Put some pants on, you fat ugly thing. I inked the lines in normally, but did all of the shading with a red pen. Then when I scanned, it was easy to mask out the red, so I didn't have to shade him on computer.

I didn't really know what I wanted to draw with my new wacom, but I wanted practice drawing beaks, and I wanted to draw a boy. So I stuck a bill on my male.

No matter how much I try to motivate myself, or how much I use my brain, I always lose at chess. I'm just too awful. Also I shaved my head. I guess I kinda miss my hair, But it's soooooo much more comfortable this way, really.

I was feeling sick so I didn't go to class. Instead i stayed home and drew. I was trying to draw a roach taking advantage of a robot, fondling and groping him in a sexual manner... but it came out looking way too cute for that I think. So, maybe they're just good friends.

Tokeki just wants a quiet place to study but my horseplay drives him to profanity. Horrible fat lines make everything too dark. Horrible attempt at 3dness too. Goodness, these are CUBES. We learned to draw these in like, first grade. How could I mess this up?! arg.

I've recently taken a liking to a certain breakfast cereal.

I've recently taken a disliking to colored pencils. They really need a flood fill feature. Although... admittedly I like the tones on this one a lot more than when I use the computer to color.

I love the way the CH came out, in the word "Technically". I don't know if I've ever seen a more perfect CH.

Everything except for that CH is horrible though.... even the handwriting's awful. It's supposed to read, "you used the wrong font.... so you see, technically, each letter is wrong..." The english department here is quite strict, you see.
