Played around with it this morning and came up with something I liked a lot better, at least it suits more to what I was initially aiming for mood-wise, but a little more chilly. Tikki and Victor are O-L-D characters of mine, created while I was writing an insane amount of 'Tale Spin' spin-off fanfiction. The drawing of them here, however, is quite recent due to coming down with a case of nostalgia. I've got a longer description for this image over on DA (username arphalia) that I won't repeat here for the sake of page spam. It would get rather spammy. Just a sketch that got adjusted in photoshop.

Cicadas drive me insane. Anyhow, done in colored pencils and a bit of black ink for Arphalia's hair and outline. Started out as one of those moody for-me sketches. The coloring bits started in the lobby of Midwest FurFest back in November. It sat around unfinished ever since, until I needed something to warm up on before getting back into these badges. "Silence me." The sketch went along with another image I had grayscaled, called Breathe Me In. I believe that was uploaded a while ago of anyone was curious. I needed a break from doing badges last night, so took the second part of this little 'sketch series' and message around with it in photoshop. Its something different. Winter. Done in colored pencils and black ink with accents of these teeny glass gems made to look like crystal. This is one of two pix that actually sold at Midwest this weekend. If anyone remembers the Siamese I uploaded a few days ago, that should be up for sale on Furbid sometime soon. I'll make a note on my website when that happens. Blue Moon. Colored pencils, markers on background and black ink and some dark red ink. As I've been mentioning everywhere else, this was done gradually between other commissions for the hell of it since the initial reason for sketching it in the first place went down zee crappah. Original will be/is for sale, at the moment though, only through email offers. Perhaps on Furbid or at Midwest Furfest if no offers happen to make me jump on a sale.
