I blame Work for my lack of art time, but that does not prevent me from dreaming. Yep, this pretty fella came to me in a dream, although sadly, I feel I did not make him as beautiful as I intended to. But I have tried to capture him onto paper so people know what I dream of should they ever wonder. Done on Deleter Brand Comic paper.

I finished reading my book and the only thing on me was a ball point pen and about 25 cents.. The Cheap poster board paper costed only like 18 cents.. So I did this. I like her disjointed foot for some reason. it sticks out, the angle is weird, like she is showing it off. Graceful AND disjointed. Here is the colored version, done in PS 7.

This fella resembles somewhat of a ki-rin (or however you spell is so many different names. =P) and it would not be surprising as leerans like to create creatures based on legends, they could care less about the legends themselves, just enjoy the challenge of creating them. I particulary like the extra long tail and that extra joint in the upper leg, must hard for that poor guy to run. ^^; Inked with microns, colored with Prisma marker and pencil.
	Image: leerancolor_copy.jpg 900x739 172526 bytes 2004.03.28 Before people started to know me for my sea creatures, people in my personal life knew that I drew nothing but strange crested creatures that I just simply called Leerans. They can be of all colors, sizes, and shapes, fur, scales or smooth skin. Leerans are Leerans. as simple as that. This one is a particualar character, mostly know by her over sized pinchers and moist black eyes. My first time doing one in color, most likely not that last. So yeah, Leeran done in color pencil on some kind of paper.

So I drew the picture and left it alone for a long time. I honestly thought it would never get complete. But I guess I have been wanting to finish some of my art, so here is this one, as done as it will ever be. Prismas and micron ink.
