I recently acquired for myself an art tablet, and this was my first big project/experiment with it. I scanned in the pencil work, and used the tablet to ink and color it, experimenting with some new shading techniques too. Overall, I'm immensely pleased with how it turned out.

This is a group photo of all of my various characters. From left to right, we have Uryl, a male (most of the time)white drake, Caliente, a hermaphrodite red drake, Fien, a female vixen (obviously of the limbless variety.. she's modular!), and my little penguin self, enjoying the view from below.

Just a helpful how-to. You want the biggest audience for your work possible, and getting flamed on this LJ_Community is a great way to get your piece noticed by those that might glaze over the recent uploads!

Possibly the two most important pieces of information here are mentioning the community, and telling it to fuck off, or some other methodology of 'ridding the net of assholes'.. the more hypocritical you are about this the better, so be the biggest jerk possible! That'll sure show them, and it should really help make sure your image gets posted. You don't exactly have to do this ON the image, but be sure to mention it in the filename or the image description.
