I believe the problem with clumpy-fur weres is that they simply don't know how to use grooming tools to remove the mats from their fur. I'm going to get flamed for this, aren't I? ;)

Just a silly little thing. Playing with my tablet while discussing the appearance of a race of evil mages a friend is trying to work up. I mentioned that if they didn't have to be physically imposing, you may as well have a race of magical penguins, and then... this had to be drawn.

I had fun with the plate armor; unfortunately I haven't found Ira since I reached this stage to ask what colour the horns are supposed to be. Oops.

The unicorn girl, finally coloured.

I asked my boyfriend what type of animal he would like to be represented as, to which he later replied that he would be a bear. It's probably pretty obvious that I have no clue how to do bears, and looking for photo references didn't help me much, either. Unfortunately, I ended up erasing the head so much that the area looks much "muddier" than the rest and I couldn't make the eyes stand out. Phoo.

Working on anatomy and pen technique. Unfortunately, I didn't decide she would be a donkey until after I had the body, and so the face seems somewhat stuck-on. In the process of watercoloring this now.

Ghyeti are the predominant predators of the southern plains of Lanetara. Swift, muscular pack creatures, their intelligence is directly proportional to the number in the pack. I'm not particularly happy with the head, but there comes a point where you can't really erase without making a bigger mess.

Working on faster anatomy studies. I think that speed actually seems to make my poses more balanced and natural (even though I don't have anything for her to be leaning ON here.)
