A bit of homage to Opera, I suppose. I love Opera. Larger version coming... sometime.

I like this sketch a LOT. The mice in my attic scratch and scratch and keep me up, so I'm going to fucking obliterate those bastards. I'm going to get snap-traps, sticky traps... a whole arsenal. I wish I could rent a cat too. Don't you dare complain to me about my "inhumanity".

I have tried live traps before and captured dozens of mice, but they just keep coming back. I have actually WITNESSED them returning. Yes, they're adorable little deer mice, but if live mice equal insomniac avelacuna, then I'm annihilating 'em. Yeah, there was a mouse in the sketch intially, but I erased it.

Eeee, were-border collie! I like this a lot.

I was thinking about the time some guy who must have been in his 30s approached me at the library and asked if I was Japanese.
"Umm...yeah, half... "
Then he said he thought I had done my makeup to look Japanese or some shit like that. What?!

..so, I drew this. Verveine's a Siberian husky/golden jackal hybrid, not a purebred anything dolled up to look like one or the other. Just like me.

Slipped yesterday on some black ice, killed both my good arm and my bad leg. It's more bone injury than superficial wound...ouch.

Just an expression of my pure frustration at being forced to listen to a lecture about some unknown art school for an hour. Maurauding Verveine on the warpath. Grrr.

Quick Merle, Siegerin, and Vesper heads. I think I'm going to lighten Siegerin.

There's work being done on my porch, so some bastard's there when I come home, making noise and tampering with my house's structure. Sometimes there's a different bastard and his kids. They play bad hair metal ballads REALLY LOUDLY from their truck when I'm trying to nap. Both of these parties leave trash all around the porch. I HATE other people's shit in my yard- it's not a junkyard, don't make it look like one. They also block the driveway. Grrrr.

Anyways, I drew this as a quick expression of my frustration over the matter. I can't draw uzis. Or any firearm for that matter.

I've said that the most dangerous part of a pit bull is its tail. They're such happy and sweet dogs, and their furiously wagging tails HURT!

I screwed up my own markings. Arrgh.

Two zooanthropes I've been thinking about materializing as characters lately.

The left one I've been thinking of as "Siegerin". She's a former SchH3 and a German shepherd. I pronounce her name "zee'-grin". Chances are that's incorrect, as I have no idea how the Germans pronounce it, but I like the way it sounds.

The right is a blue merle sheltie. Her name is Vesper and she's a former shepherdess. Yup.

So eventually these two managed to escape their jobs and met Merle. The three formed a misanthropic unit, bent on maiming the species that had enslaved and suppressed theirs for so long. And they adore the various forms of industrial.

I get the those headaches after naps... and I think that I've started clenching my teeth in my sleep again, judging from the pain in the right side of my jaw. Damn.

I'm going to go nap. Ouch.

I get the worst sinus headaches after naps. Verveine shows it.

Quick sketch of Merle. Not very good, but it looks sort of neat.

She's a leucistic golden jackal with neon green eyes, highlights in front, and spots around wrists and ankles.

Don't screw with this jackal. That grin'll be the last thing you ever see.

When I was redesigning Amy in January, I sketched out a character sheet for her.

Some of the writing is legible, but it's not vital to be able to read it. Basically, it just says that her hands are pamprodactylous and nearly semipalmate, her pupils are usually dilated, she has duct tape on her tail (it's actually electrical tape), and has barred retrices and remiges.

I decided to draw a creature off the top of my head, resulting in this peculiar little thing. He's a cross between a procyonid and a prosimian, which is impossible in real life, which is why I feel he's on topic. And..he has a fin sticking out of his face.

Tourniquet with a prosthetic wing, carving a heart into her head with her nail. Reminds me of good 'ol Charlie Manson, although Tourniquet isn't "hearting herself from your world".
