Avid Lebon in Chemical City

High above the city Avid stands as the eaos fades and the sky becomes black. She liked to go on the rooftop, she didn't often get a moment to herself after having made the pact with the Black Verr. A decision she often regretted; a decision unfortunately avoidable. Soon the mist would be rising; it was both a blessing and a curse as many things in her life up to this point had been. After dark it would creep out of the ground, rising several feet into the air, smothering any who breathed it in within minutes. While being a great threat, and making travel difficult after fade it did protect the city from those who would threaten what remained.

I did this picture for the AlbinoBlacksheep Devo Contest 8. She's a mix of several animals, though mostly feline influenced. There is also an animated version on http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/rapture.

When you truely fall in love with someone you open up to them, you leave yourself exposed. Sometimes it takes time to trust someone, to truely let them in. Unfortunately for Avid, when she finally dares to trust in the one she loves, he stabs a knife deep into her heart (metaphorically, not literally.) Cry all you want dear, it won't change anything, he's made up his mind, and if reaching what he desires means hurting you, then so be it.

I love how his hair turned out! Originally drawn for Kaneda, I think the muzzle is a bit too long, but I still think it is rather awesome anyway.

My other picture of a starry sky was not at all liked due to all the monotony and drab stars... Well, here's my attempt to redeem myself! Hah! My anthro dragon char Ray dancing around in the skies of Whist when she still knew what happiness was. I haven't used her for so long...

This is my little pet. He is a little creation of mine. He was much cuter before my roomates daughter whipped him down the stairs.. Note to self: buy lock for bedroom door.

This has to be my favorite picture ever! This is Tashunisu, and she has some magical powers as portrayed in the pic.

This is my first try at a picture with a decent landscape background. My favorite part is how the cage came out looking so three dimentional. I feel something is lacking, though I'm not sure what it is exactly. If I were to redo it today I'd probably have a lot more plants and such. All charachters are copyright me.
