Recently, I decided to "revamp" my self-image, as I felt my drawing abilities had improved somewhat since I had first sketched what I felt I should have looked like. This is the result, Baphijmm flying through the night sky.

I needed to get creative again, so I did this little sketch as a quick warm-up. I liked it so much, I decided to color it, using a style I've never used before.\r\n\r\nThis is a scene from a novel I'm writing entitled Next of Kin. The person on the left is Maya Chandrasekhar, whilst the guy staring deeply into her gaze is Jacob Kin. Jacob is a half-dragon, hence the horns and wings, and Maya is Hindi, hence the chakra. There was a bit more to this picture, but I thought that this looked plenty good enough, and cropped the rest out, as it kinda sucked. If I feel like it, I might actually finish that part and submit the complete, un-cropped pic, but I doubt it'll happen.\r\n\r\nMayaChandrasekhar, Jacob Kin, Next of Kin (c) Baphijmm

I decided, just for fun, that I'd try my hand at a friend of mine's character, Pi.\r\n\r\nPi (c) Pi\r\nArt (c) Baphijmm

OMGANGST\r\n\r\nI've never really been lonely in this way before. Lots of explanation required there, which would require more than I'd like to go into. Sufficed to say, having a romance drive that's only attracted to a mythical being can get quite... sad at times. Like a few days ago, when it rained all day. I love the rain, but it does tend to remind me of what I cannot have.

A good friend of mine requested this of me almost half a year ago, and I just got around to it. ^^;\r\n\r\nThis is Sekhmet, the Egyptian goddess of destruction and medicine. According to the myths, she was sent to Earth to take revenge on man; thinking she was drinking the blood of the Egyptians she had killed, she instead drank large quantities of beer colored red. As a result, she was, in essence, drunk under the table. Every year around Halloween, a festival is celebrated with a lot of alcohol, to get the goddess drunk again.\r\n\r\nMy friend commented that she was her favorite Egyptian goddess because of this, and wanted me to draw something cute-like, so here it is!
