Verzasca, almost done

some minor changes to be done tomorrow, aswell taking a daylight picture. Please forgive this nighttime shot. Then I'll call it done and never again do rocks in acrylic again. The next painting consists of mossy stones.\r\nI think I'm mental, i hate-love the stuff

EH-HEY finger

"oh, a finger!"\r\nmy last Sculpture. Made of polymer clay, glass eyes, wire, foil, cicada wings, gold and metallic green paints.\r\nHis tail and fingers were made with superflex polymer and are therefore not as easy to break as an average sculpture. He is made to be hung on a wall or posed on a flat surface. He can hang upside down, sidewise or upwards like here. Check his other image here. Sold on ebay last August

GAROYLE.jpg
Image: GAROYLE.jpg   518x730 125235 bytes 2007.01.03

THE GARGOYLES NIGHT

big angry winged werewolf. Or werewolf gargoyle. Spent quite a while shading the aquarell only to watch the scanner eat up aaaalll. *love scanner*.\r\nThis boy is for Further Confusion.\r\nA4 aquarell and ink. He was supposed to have the light from the window shine through and be a bit more plastic with shades... but oh well, next time.

foreverwaitingsframes.jpg

forever waiting

another Further Confusion piece. \r\naquarell and some ink on A4

graylycansFRAME.jpg
Image: graylycansFRAME.jpg   579x772 158662 bytes 2007.01.03

GRAY LYCAN

I know this title is uber-creative, but did not have anything better in mind. This was sent to Further Confusion artshow. It is aquarell with indian ink on A4 paper. The original has some more detail added in the foliage at the were's feet.

lionloversdeviantframes.jpg
Image: lionloversdeviantframes.jpg   591x772 143681 bytes 2007.01.03

LION LOVERS

two lion lovers cuddling.\r\nAnother Piece for Further Confusion. This was a "filler" meaning it is not as detailed as my other works but more in a scetchy status. its made with aquarell and ink on a smaller A4.

mother_and_cubsFRAME.jpg
Image: mother_and_cubsFRAME.jpg   528x712 149519 bytes 2007.01.03

MOTHER AND CUBS

Another piece for Further Confusion. My first dragon piece for an artshow I believe. I hope it will get a good "parent". Small A4 with aquarell and indian ink. This is one of the earlyer pieces for the show, therefore I had more time for details. I used this piece to train the "not use black" task for myself.Except for the indian ink no black was used to darken the colors.

myvalleysFRAME.jpg
Image: myvalleysFRAME.jpg   553x729 123149 bytes 2007.01.03

MY VALLEY

Cheetah watching over her valley\r\nAnother Piece for Further Confusion. its made with aquarell and ink on A5. The scan doesnt even get close to the original\r\nthis piece was also a testing of no usage of black. This means, with the exception of the darker spots and the outlines in black ink no black aqurell was used to darken the colors

saharawarriorsframe.jpg
Image: saharawarriorsframe.jpg   543x772 140257 bytes 2007.01.03

SAHARA WARRIOR

For Further Confusion, one of the last pieces, am not really happy with the detail in it compared to the others. It seems more like a scetch. Anyhow, indian ink and aquarell on A4

theladyfromtheforrestsFRAME.jpg
Image: theladyfromtheforrestsFRAME.jpg   551x772 157003 bytes 2007.01.03

THE LADY FROM THE FORREST

another piece for Further Confusion. This is my favourit from all made for FC, especially because this one was made without using any black, with exception of the ink. it looks much better IRL than in this scanned version. Aquarell and indian ink on A4

theredcoaksframe.jpg
Image: theredcoaksframe.jpg   712x481 132212 bytes 2007.01.03

THE RED CLOAK

another Further Confusion artshow piece. This is one of the only colorpencil pieces. I found that I like aquarell much more. This one is more detailed as it was created early. There are many shades of colorpencils used in the back, pencil with name colors I have never heard before. I have a huge prismacolor 240 pens or so set. Not quite happy with the colors but I like the image concept.Prismacolor on A4

tigerscreeksframe.jpg
Image: tigerscreeksframe.jpg   543x724 169094 bytes 2007.01.03

TIGER'S CREEK

This was done in a rather more scetchy stile.\r\nThe idea is based on a scetch done in october.\r\nThis is one of the two A3 sized works I sent to Further Confusion, it looks better in real life though. Aquarell and inks on A3

winged_friendFRAMEs.jpg
Image: winged_friendFRAMEs.jpg   768x1028 244541 bytes 2007.01.03

THE WINGED FRIEND

another Further Confusion artshow piece. This wolf developed a dooling after I shrunk the piece... for whatever reason. It bugs me, but be assured, the original does not have the eye problem.\r\nAquarell and indian ink on A5, some pearl powder was added to the snow to make it... snowy.

warriorfoxsmall.jpg
Image: warriorfoxsmall.jpg   376x500 73516 bytes 2006.08.29

a random fox warrior. Colorpencil and aquarell on a mid size of A4 and A4

schwarzwaldsmall.jpg
Image: schwarzwaldsmall.jpg   600x438 119225 bytes 2006.08.29

again an oilpainting. This one was kept simple as I know more "lines" would destroy the nature of this image. Original is much more vibrant in color.

pridesmall.jpg
Image: pridesmall.jpg   443x600 115475 bytes 2006.08.29

one of my first oil paintings. This is sized A3 and it gets no way close to the originals vibrance.

manehyenas.jpg
Image: manehyenas.jpg   462x700 120943 bytes 2006.08.29

colorpencils and ink, rather randomly chosen subject.

wishingstars.jpg
Image: wishingstars.jpg   467x700 104599 bytes 2006.08.29

wishing on a star was created for AnthroCon and now resides with a dear friend in Germany. It is also the cover of my color portfolio. I have a weak spot for winged critters. Especially wolves and cats... colorpencil and ink

IMG_8321.jpg

canines versus felines, the old war\r\nis a chess set I had made for Eurofurence. Here you can see the figures in their uncured state, without the board. Saddly there is no picture of the finnished piece. Each figure was handscultpted and mostly altered. Kings and queens are wolves and lions. Material is both black and white kilned terra cotta.

whitesapienta.jpg
Image: whitesapienta.jpg   700x504 64084 bytes 2006.05.01

a doodle on photoshop. A very rare white Sapienta Leontaur from my book.
