I really like the idea of combining the old west with old english mythology. Here's my Native American paint horse taur. She's very much inspired by the work of Megan Giles.

Here's an older pic I posted recently to my art Live Journal, Beerhorse. I penciled this picture about 2 years ago, inked and colored the husky and the night sky about one year ago, and slapped a background on it only a month ago. I'm still not sure what I think of it. :)

This started out as a little thumbnail sketch, but then I decided to color it. The image is actually this size, I thought it was a cute idea since mice are small anyhow.

A scaley hippocampus as opposed to the nice sleek dolphin ones I've been doing. She's purdy.

An idea I got from the Hard Rock Las Vegas add. In the add, the pool balls are actually dice. \r\n\r\n

Bayne the Demonicorn. This was a commission that I was given free reign to have fun with. Lots of "Record of Lodoss War" inspired armour.

Saving the world from the devestating use of the word "French," it's Freedom Poodle!!! After this, it's off for a Freedom Manicure, and maybe find a nice boy to share some Freedom Fries, take home for some Freedom Kissing and offer for him to stay for some Freedom Toast in the morning. I guess the last part depends on how good he is with his Freedom Tickler. When will the madness end!

Two pieces of artwork created in Illustrator for my class Logo project. I gave it the simple background so you could see the white parts without me adding outlines to them.

I'm currently taking some web development classes and this week we are learning Adobe Illustrator. This is my first piece of out of class artwork done on day two. It's different from the piece I sent to my mailing list as I had some time to tweak it in class the next day. I can't wait for our second week of Illustrator, then it's on to Photoshop!

Looks like Skorzy's lady, Em'Ryld, does not like to be interrupted. :) I decided to test the limits of my patience by drawing in and shading every single scale on her body, the scan just does not do it justice. Prisma color markers and pencils with gel pen highlights.

This picture is based off one of the most beautiful breeds of horse, the Gypsy Vanner horse, also known as the Irish Tinker horse. I first learned of them under the first name, hence the gypsy costume. This was my first experiment with textures with gell pens. It was suppossed to be sparkly, but came out looking more like silk or crushed velvet. Either way, it was fun! Thanks to Lyosha and Pseudo Manitou for ideas for the background.
