Thinking my weird thoughts one day I realized, that I couldn't think of one predator on this world, who has got hooves. Now I know about a such a species who lived in the time after the dinsosaurs, but nevertheless I wanted to create such a creature on my own.
And here he is...
Devilrams live in herds of middle size and move mostly though deserts, where they hunt everything, which is eatable.
It's the second picture I drew of a Devilram, but the first one is too, old to present it.
By the way: This is the last "old" piece of art I plan to update.
Colourpencils and Acrylic pencils for the dust.

The word 'scapegoat' means in German: Sündenbock. This again would be something like sin-goat, though this word doesn't exist.
Some day I wondered how such a goat might look like and so I started to scribble and... tadahh! That is the result.
Although I like that picture there's still something bothering me: Where's the sin? :-}
*sighs* Maybe one day I'll be able to draw him the way, I imagined him to be ...

Awww! ^_^ I love him!
this little dino is actually a plushy of mine. When I saw him in a store I just had to take him with me. He looks so adorable "unclever". :->

One day I was sitting in a friend's room and felt the urgent need to draw something really mean. :-p
I was inspired in that moment another pal of me entered this room, you know. He's tall, slinky, has got a goatbeard and is really evil. :-> *grins*
So Zlize was born. He's evil. He's sadistic and he has got a weird sense of humor and I luuuuv him! ^_^

My first eastern dragon I was ever proud of. :-)
I tried to put a lot of effort in the details and the lighteffects. That's why I have chosen the fire as background.
Harhar! Burn, baby, burn! :-)

I am very proud of this one, 'cus I think the anatomy looks pretty well ...
As I mentioned before I like unusual unicorns. I got the idea for this one, after I read the third part of a German cat-crime novel. The book was very brutal and described the terrors of war in a very scaring way. So I tried to put all those information into one piece and that's the result...
I really love this piece very much and I hope, you like it, too.

This piece was inspired by a picture of the great master of dragons: Ciruello.
It shows a male and a female dragon ... yes, mating. :-> They grasp each other and while they mate they fall down to the ground and they seperate just a few metres before the impact.
The green dragon is the fem and the blue one is the male.

Actually I wanted him to be a black dragon, but now he looks more like a black Gargoyle thing. :-} I must confess that I was heavily inspired by Bahamut of Final Fantasy VIII.
I wanted him to look strong, powerfull, impressive and so on. Black and purple were the colours I have chosen to underline his elegance.
Gilgamesh is a master of magic fire and he can controll the weather in so far, that he can create stroms on purpose.
Mrrr... Mesa like it to draw flashes. :-)
It's pure colour pencils.

As I said: I luuuv Griffons. :-)
Unfortunately I had not enough space on the paper to add some wings, but nevertheless I like the dynamics in this piece.
It's so to say the power you're filled up with, when you're completely insane ... and in rage.

736x514 89840 bytes 2002.04.28
Like I mentioned before I like unusual critterz and I dare to say, that it is indeed unusual to draw a dragon with fur. At least not many artists do so. But after I saw "Record of Loddoss War" the final inspiration was given. :-)
I started to think about the livingcircumstances, which would be necessary, so that a Dragon really could needs this fur, without diing (???) because of the heat. The logical consequence was it to put him into the everlasting ice of the Antarctic ...
With the colours white and iceblue he is screened very well and the thick down on his wings prevents them of freezing. Only the dark scales could betray him.
The thick cushion under his claws prevents that he slides over the ice and the two long claws are perfect for hunting fish in the cold clear water.
So to say the arctic Dragon is perfectly adapted to his surrounding ... of course only in the case, that I haven't forgot anything ... 8-)

I luuuuv Gryphons! 8-D
But unfortunately I'm very alone with this love in my circle fo friends.
After I explored the great art of Cara Mittens i just felt the urgent need to draw a Gryphon on my own and so I did. This theme was so to say virginal for me. :-) But I didn't want to draw a Gryphon, half lion and half eagle or other "usual" Gryphons (don't misunderstand me; I loce them, too, but I always had crash on unusual critterz) so I chosed a harpy as the bird part.
Although I like him very much, he turned out too playfull ...

Though he was my first really good dragon, he's still my favourite. :->
I almost turned crazy drawing the background. Argh! 8-} But finally I think it was worth it.
"Silently he watches how the light plays on the green forest floor. He listnes to the songs of the birds and smells the fresh scent of a new day.
Patiently he takes care over the the holy place, until one day a younger companion will take over his place and his duty ..."
It's colour pencils again.

806x538 79756 bytes 2002.04.28
My little brother played Warhammer, for a short time. And I was fascinated by the small tin-models, especially, when they are well coloured.
I found some pictures of Knights on horses and took the anatomy as a reference.
During the same time I played a lot of Zelda- The Ocarina of time and I think it's a great idea to make magical fire blue. :-)
So I combined thus two ideas into one picture.

577x689 72609 bytes 2002.04.19
The black and white version of this pic is actually over half a year old, but it took me so awfully long to finish it. :-}
I was in the mood to draw something symbolical in a "simple" style at that time and like the way it turned out. Hm ... a Bloodhound with wings ... fascinating. :->
Oh, by the way, only to mention it: The short-form of Bloodhound Omega is still "Bloodi", with an "i" at the end. I do not want you to think of me as an alltime-blooddripping Wuff. :-p *grins*

During summer 2001 I had the chance to visit my two favourite fillies Shira and Nelena and of course it was a time full of drawing. ^_^
I spent most time together with Nel, sitting at the kitchentable, drawing and talking. When I confessed to her, that I am a damn little coward in real life and that I am awfully afraid of high heights, she just felt the urgent need to draw a picture with Nelena and Bloodi driving a torrent course (? am not sure if this word exists, so I hope you know what I'm talking about).
*pouts* Phaaaa!
So the next day, when she and I went for a walk, I had my private little revenge. *grins wicked* You should never go for a walk with a Bloodhound, if you're not at least as heavy as he is. ^.^ Sorry Nel, but this had to be.
The scan is not very good, I know and a lot of details get lost, but I used a larger format than usual, so that the data would become too large. :-\
By the way:
I planned this picture to be the first part of a "trilogy" but being over-busy with school, I don't know when I'll be able to draw the other two parts.

Drawn on marbled paper during the Euro Furence VII.
Some months before that I was in culture city Weimar in Germany and had the chance to watch an excellent interpretation of Goethe's Faust. I was very impressed by the young actor who played Mephisto: he moved really smooth and catlike and was always a bit cheeky and arrogant. Just brilliant.
His outfit consisted of wide black trousers, a narrow red shirt and black small wings attached to his back. :-) You see any similarities? *tailwags*

This is actually a pencil-sketch on plain paper and a result of pure boredom.
During one of my Psi Corps Germany Meetings we had absolutely nothing to do, for at least full two hours and so I started to doodle and this guy here was born.
He's a furry wolf-Idon'tknowhwat-mixture, with an Indian touch. There's not much else about him to know ... he even has got no name yet. Maybe I can again ask you for help? I'd be grateful for serious ideas. :-)

998x509 98090 bytes 2002.04.18
I think it was in the beginning of summer 2001, when I drew this one. No joke. :-) Somehow I started to wonder when I built my last snowman and I found out, that it was awfully long ago.
This picture shows also a very typical behaviour of Bloodi: Grinning like a Bobcat and thinking about fems. ;-) *grins broadly*
Actually this piece means much more to me. but I don't want to bore you with that, so just know, that - in my eyes- it's always easier for a man to talk about women, than for a girl ... in a special way ...
Tradition sucks. :-p Bleeee... Ah, well. I can live with that.

When you have a closer look at the VCL you'll find Shira's archive around here. Through her I got to know the adorable firemares, that's why I drew this picture "for her".
I love unicorns, especially if they're unusual, like for example black, or demonic with a bend horn or maybe spotted fur or stuff like that.
So this is my interpretation of a firemare, spelling a firespell. Mrrrr... hot, isn't she? :)
I spend most time with the hair and the fire and finally I'm disappointed about my background, but now it's too late to change it. :-(
But well, for the next time I'll know it better ...

Awwww! Look at this horrible killer-machine!
It snuggled at least 100 people to death. 8-p *grins*
I love this picture very much. It shows my Bloodi in a very nice way, though this Psyduck doesn't seem to be very happy. :-}
I never dared to colour that picture, because I was afraid of messing it up, so it stayed bw.
Okay, c'mon once more: Awwwwww... ;-D *lol*

What happens if a Bloodhound watches "The Crow" for the very first time?
You see the result right now. :->
Benedict is my goth-kitten. There he stands, with one of his ravens (yes, it SHOULD be a raven ...) on his shoulder, holding out his hand for the second one.
*sighs* I still need to practise drawing skinny characters. Help! :-\ And I am still not good enough in drawing clothes, but I haven't give up hope yet...

818x570 85850 bytes 2002.04.18
Yeeeehhhaaaaa! That's what this picture tells me. :-D
It's weird... it's so bright and cheerful, but it's full of logical mistakes. So -for example- you don't really know if this lovely lady named Amazoon jumps forward or backward.
:-}
Nevertheless I like this piece, because it's really cheerful and full of dynamic.
Amazoon is a character, which has also got a little story. She's the mate of Numbali (you should find him in my sketch-section) and she's quiet aware that they both risk a lot, being together, although they don't belong to the same tribe, even not the same race, either.
Amazoon is an adventurer. She loves action and that's why she often gets into trouble. She's humorous, sometimes a bit naive, but almost always kind and polite.
It's fineliner- and pencil-work.

478x650 67785 bytes 2002.04.18
My very first anthropomorphic dinosaur. :-)
Pustoss is actually a furry T-Rex with a few ... uhm ... "modifications". :-> So for example the white hair and his colour.
He's a specialist in searching tracks and stuff, no matter in which location, though he prefers warm areas. The Dreamcatcher in his hands indicates that he can be very spiritual.
Colour Pencils rule! ^_^

476x671 66174 bytes 2002.04.18
A former friend of mine is a DJ and he transformed the theme of the Pink Panther into a rave-song. I was so inspired by that, that I wanted to embody that very special panther.
And here he is: completely obsessed by rhythm and beat. ;-p
The sign on his chest is the "ATA", Tekky's symbol.
It's a piece for which I used aquarelle pencils.

501x735 85125 bytes 2002.04.18
Being fascinated by the Egyptian mythology it was only a matter of time when this influenced at least one of my drawings.
Bastet - the Egyptian cat-goddess - represents grace and might in one body. Full of pride she looks at those who pray to her.
I tried to create detailed "costume", but I was never good neither in drawing clothes nor in drawing details, but well, if have still got enough time to practise. :-)
