Dinner Time

A small (smaller than a postcard) collab between Tascun and myself in honour of the upcomming EuroFurence. He provided the idea and the sketch and I added some colour.

Unfortunately though I accidentally change the arch of the eyes while colouring so while Tascun's version looks just plain cute and friendly, my version looks like a fuzzy toothless old Yoda about to shlurp some noodles. XD

Anymoo... pugs need more love. <3

The Hunting Party

With 6,5*8,5inches this was one of the bigger "mini-collabs" for EF, but certainly the most ... dense. XD I also confess it was one I looked insanely forward to because... 'cmoooon! Critter goodness and Bloodhound! ^___^

Akeyla, who did the sketch for this, lent me a bit of her scenery and a creature named Saltican, to go along a random Bloodhound and his Blarf. Even though it was a horrible fight with the scale (the Bloodhounds head is only about as big as my biggest fingernail and I sure as hell don't have hunge hands) and it turned out a bit fuzzy/ blurry, it's one of the collabs I am really happy with and wouldn't mind keeping it. *g*

One more mini and all minis are done and than I have only one collab left! Yayyyyy!

This is the collaboration between AlectorFencer and myself and I think we both have been giving each other quite some headaches with the expecations we set into ourselves. x3

I can honestly claim I have never done something like this before... bold colours are not my realm. I hide between details and realism so this was a leap into cold water... My hope is not to have messed it up and at least with the gryphons I am somewhat sure, they turned out ok. *g*

Sangoma

This is a regular EF collaboration, not one of the 16 minis, even though this one ended up a bit small. *g*

Lineart was created by Tascun and what you see is a Sangoma, doing some white magic. There are "good" and "evil" Sangomas, to my knowledge, who can use their powers either to heal and help or to speak out curses.

Underrated rodents ftw!

This bat eared fox was sketched by Anatoliba and coloured by me. Overall this picture is only about as big as two ACEOs put together. Truly a mini. ;)

This was actally EF mini-collab No. 7 but I only now got hold of the coloured and finished piece to scan it again.

It's one of only three collabs in which my partner took over the part of colouring. In this case the wonderfully frosty atmosphere was created by Cloudstarwolf.

Canyon Dweller

Not a mini, but still a collab. ^__^ This time between Vorndess and myself. She provided the lineart of the dragon and sketched the background for me, which can be easily recognized as the breathtaking antelope canyons. Or at least I hope so.

The stone was insane fun to draw and the dragons colour pattern (which got lost due to the scales) was taken from a "bearded dragon". ^^

I think the contrast between the lineart against the soft background is intruiging till surreal... I like it.

No, I didn't finish this one so fast. It just took me a while a to get the previous one online.

Lineart for this has been done by Tavaris, I coloured.

I am kinda unhappy with the far background though... Unfortunately the paper reacted unrfiendly towards water colour treatment, but I enjoyed colouring the Nyalas. Pretty hoofers they are. This piece is a bit bigger than the others btw. Otherwise I think I'd have gone crazy.

I love how she did the wings. I still fail getting the skin the way I like, the folds stretching over the digits and positions other than direct profile. >_<

I had to print out the lienart three times and finally had to resize it, because I failed in my colouring attempts twice. There was just no way of squishing fur structure into this. Xp

Even though it's "only" a small and silly little piece (and bold in matters of colours) I like the outcome. It's refreshing, in more than just one way.

Woad Warrior

Finally finally I got around to colour the lineart that Qzurr has finished for our EF collab and myohmy... was this little bugger time consuming. >__>

I am kind mad at myself that I unintentionally changed his facial expression (he looks way to friendly now), but I didn't want to meddle any further with it, in fear of ruining it in the end.

So once again, credit for the lineart goes entirely to Qzurr. Hope you like how our art baby turned out.


Fun Trivia: This picture was coloured with less than 25 different colours, which is little for my standards.

Steampunk Lantern

This is a little collaboration project between Serena, Neleba, Vorndess and myself.

It's basically a simple cardboard lantern that we mutilated with an ornament-punch and some mildly steampunked lineart. ^__^ The lantern will be covered in babyoi,l at some point, to make it partially transparent, so you can put one of those little eltrical safety candles inside it.

Man.... this EF will be the con of collaborations for me. ^^; I work together with up to four different artists this time. That's exciting! This one is a collab between The DarkWolfen and myself. He delivered the lineart and I did a - more or less - colour job on it. X3 I atually intended a style similar to what I used with the Lynx, but it simply wouldn't work out.

I don't think I ever digitally coloured someone else's lineart before... Also not sure if this ain't my first black-backed Jackal so far. O.o Don't wanna insist on it though.

Trixie

While visiting Wylde this summer I stole two of her line arts in order to finish them for her.

This is the first one. I am utterly in love with her legs, I dare say. 8o

It was a bit hard to work on the paper as it was very thin (ouch for water colours) and rough (ouch for colour pencils details). *laughs* I am a whiny pampered artist. Take that. ^^;

And no it's not the Sam 'n Max Trixie. I just failed in thinking of a proper title for this piece...
