It's a rather unusual interpretation of Bastet, I guess, but I wanted to add a cat's playfulness next to its natural grace. :D

The Cutie Pie's CharacterSheet

I have been working on this since end of last year. The sketches were rather demaning, although they don't look like it, because I had to keep some things in mind, that are not visible from the outside.

Anyhow. This is a Bloodhound character for my friend somewolf and no, her name's not Cutie Pie, but she has no name yet. We have plans for her, so expect to stumble over her again in the future. :)

Felt good to do some Bloodhound art again. There's far too little comming from my direction nowadays. ;__;

Alyska's Trott

Man, I sure do hope the colours are looking alright now. I am a bit worried after I realized that there is a rather big difference in the way my laptop and my computer display stuff. o.o

Anyhow. This is Alyska, a little wolfess I adopted from MeanCheen over on DA, who had to give a whole bunch of her wolf characters away. I figured, besides the fact that I think her markings/ colours are pretty, that she might be good for anatomical and structure practise. ;D Just a little thing, wanted to try out coloured paper again. <3

She's ancient, ugly and a few teeth short, but she still can turn you into a piece of her little collection if you cross her. ;D

Another piece for MMC art show and if this one's get sold it will probably hurt parting from it. The light is probably all messed up, but I don't care much as it was fun and looks neat enough. :3 Original looks slightly less "flat" than the scan, especially the skull pile.

Btw. I hid three more or less known skulls in that pile. First one to find all three will get a free cookie. XD

Oh and... I <censored> love my <censored> pencils! :O Traditional Media FTW!

The Tiger who couldn't make up his mind

"Recycled" an old lineart and went a bit overboard with it. It was fun though.

There's random tiger thrown in there, regular cheetah as well as king cheetah, regular leopard, snow and clouded leopard as well as jaguar.

Drip Drop Drizzle

One of two bookmark designs I did for Nelena, to help her out with something. She needed the lineart only though and as I was allowed to sell the originals I thought I might as well finish those and bring them along to MMC. ^^ Don't be surprised to see the motive double in the future then.

I experimented a bit with this one, trying to apply the inking and colouring style of Anita Jeram (Guess how much I love you) to the piece. I didn't manage to get the full breadth of the watercolour's effects banned on paper, but I blame this mainly on using too cheap paper for this. Lesson learned. *g*

The little caravan was marching on through the snow. Having the sun in their backs they just walked wherever their paws, claws and hooves would take them. They had no goal set to reach, no purpose to fulfil. All they were here for was to enjoy the crystalline sound of frost around them, the smell of sharp fresh morning air in their nostrils, the tickling sensation the snow under them when they stepped on it.

The light sound of silver bells accompanied them on their way through the day and the watchful gaze of the three brothers high in the sky lay upon them.

Environment: areas with lots of fruits, mainly the tropical forests, but also the plainlands

Diet: herbivore

Felifeys often fulfil the function of insects on Ileyeah: they fertilize plants by flying from fruit to fruit or blossom to blossom. They are often used by gardeners and harvesters for that purpose.

Ursus Intellectus

3rd Entry for "Bloodi's Anthropomorphic Alphabet of Excotic Animals". Spectacled Bear for "S". Now finally live and in full colour by myself, after kittomer kittomer did an amazing colour job in it. :)

That makes the letters A, B and S done, while I have G inked. Gosh... why do there have to be so many letters in the Alphabet? XD I am determined to bring this to an end though, even if it takes ages!

Had this one finished last week already, but I am trying not to swamp your watch accounts too much. Ain't that thoughtful of me? XD

Big bahaaad Wolf

I dare say I love this one. XD As much it is a stupid pun and old chlichè, I love it. *ggg*

The fur of the wolf is to be blamed on Tascun somehow, because he suggested a beige colour. Since I started working on a huge piece for EF a month ago I have been studying my wolf books really hard and I don't think I will ever be able to draw a plain grey wolf. It would hurt my heart and be an insult to the complexity and variety of their fur.

Yaddayadda. Bahahaaaa! XD Heidschnuckis are fun!

Pillow Lounge

It's the female counterpart to another piece I have done. When I had finished the lineart I was standing before the problem of not knowing how to colour her. I didn't want to give her bis scales as I gave him and any colourscheme I could come up with was boring, so I just added some swirls to her skin, because one can never have enough swirls. ^^
