This pretty vixen is my first really real Role-play character. ^_^ It's Isis Kerrinian. She's a thief. ;-)
I started to draw this picture during my stay at Nelena's and Shira's place. I only wanted to have a picture for Nel, which she could use as reference for the colours, but than I started to draw and draw and then I thought, I just couldn't leave it without background.
So I just looked through a book I had with me; it was about Pompeii. I only looked through the pictures and did not read the text, until I finally found one ruin, that seemed perfect to me. And so I drew and drew and drew... and when I finally started to read a bit, I found out, that I was drawing all the time the ruin of the temple of Isis...
8-} Weird, isn't it?
I used a picture of a Cat warrior from Lunarwolf as reference for the pose and after I sketched Isis' body I absolutely loved it... and that's why she's "naked" here. But if anyone asks me, the official answer would be, that she was meditating there and somebody disturbed her silence, so that she pulled her Mana-dagger and was ready to fight ... well, that doesn't really explain why she isn't wearing any clothes either, but hey... that's life. ^_^

I must confess... I am proud of how it turned out.

This is Itsua, one of the main characters from Timothy's movie "Kaze Ghost Warrior".

Spent between 4-6 hours to finish this I think.

I liked Itsua's character design from the beginning and as I didn't dare to ask Timothy for an art trade I ended up doing, what I often do, when I can't ask for a trade... I made it a gift. ^-^

ACEO - What remains are dust and ashes...

I have been asked if I wanted to contribute an ACEO for a little project that collects cards that will be reprinted and sold in order to raise awareness for the climate change and endangered animal species.

In Brazil alone more than a dozen species of monkeys are endangered, because of the loss of their living space; among them various kinds of tamarins, spidermonkeys and several sub species of the capuchin monkeys.

So I chose a spidermonkey for my card. It might not be recognizable due to the small size of the card, but the reflection in his eyes shows a burnt down forest (or at least is meant to show the same). I tried to pick up the topic without too much kitch and cliche, so I left out the tears. ;p

After I saw the two marvelous Naruto style pics Shinigami Girl did and after I got infected by the Naruto virus as well, I wanted to try my paw on such a picture as well.

Knowing that my skills in drawing proper anatomy and clothing still need imporvement I decided to draw a sheet of Leila, or better so say, several sheets of Leila, showing the different layers of her final Genin outfit. It was a nice exercise and it was actually real fun.

Though now I am a bit disappointed with the result, and I have no clue why. >_<

Anyway, here comes the first of three pictures.

Urgh... the basic suit looks like some damn spandex thingy. O.o

This one looks even worse now than the first one. >_< Argh...

Watch my total unability to draw feet/shoes from a frontal shot. *grumbles*

The final outfit. The backview of Leila is only "picture" from the six which I still really like. >_> She looks kinda tough there.

Tsss... shrinked her head in the front view.

Hopefully I won't fuck up the final picture as much as this. O.o

If I do I will die my hair pink, lead a completely sense- and useless existence and cry randomly "SASUKE-KUUUUUUUUNNNN!".... Amen.

So here is the final version of Leila as a Hidden Grass Shinobi.

I had so much fun with the whole idea and I fell so much in love with it, that I spend hours of thinking about Leila's skills, character (in that universe) and her history and I'd like to share that.

A little experiment for EF. I had thin coloured paper with me, too thin for shading and colouring, so I had to do something with lines. Lines + lion, get it? ^^;

Anyway... it was lot's of fun. *g* I might do more of those... maybe a wolf and a dragon next? Or a hare? ;D

I planned to add little Schnuff to the picture in any case, but I put him gladly where he is because I absolutely couldn't ger Akuma's foot done right. ^-^'

Lingery can look really nice sometimes, though I still need some practise in all the details.

Don't ask. I don't know why. :}

Out of a reason I do not know I changed my style of colouring in this picture, so it doesn't look as strainy and shiny as usual, therefore the colours are very intensive. I'm not sure yet if I like this or not...

I guess a made a mistake in the area where the upper body grows together with the legs... this doesn't look right in my eyes.

The Cutie Pie's CharacterSheet

I have been working on this since end of last year. The sketches were rather demaning, although they don't look like it, because I had to keep some things in mind, that are not visible from the outside.

Anyhow. This is a Bloodhound character for my friend somewolf and no, her name's not Cutie Pie, but she has no name yet. We have plans for her, so expect to stumble over her again in the future. :)

Felt good to do some Bloodhound art again. There's far too little comming from my direction nowadays. ;__;

Another piece for my map. Though a maned wolf has actually nothing got to do with do with real wolfs - except of the name - I thought it might be nice to draw one nevertheless.

Maned wolfs are also called "foxes on stalkers". I like that nickname. That's why there's the little mascot in the corner. :)

I do not know why, but there's something about this picture I don't like. The shading is ok... it might be something with the head...

MAoI - Antassia

Name: Antassia, "Jungle Shark"

Environment: Rainforests

Diet: carnivore

The so called “Jungle Shark” is a swift hunter that roams the jungle alone or in small packs of up to four animals. Rudimentary webbing indicates that the Antassia once was a water dwelling creature. The byname “Jungle Shark”
derives from the fact that the spikes on the hunched back appearing between bushes is often the last thing an unsuspecting prey animal sees.

MAoI - Bambtoo Ram

Name: Bambtoo Ram

Environment: Plain Lands

Diet: herbivore

Bambtoo Rams are large herbivores that have long since been domesticated by Bloodhounds. They live in a semi-wild stage, allowing Hounds to use them as mounts and lending them their strenght for agricultural or other physical work. Bot genders have the long twisted horns, but only males have the mane like ruffled fur around their neck.
Bmambtoo Rams can be very attached once they decide to show affectuin. This can include another ram, a Bloodhound or something completely different. Nonetheless Rams are brave fighters and defend themeselves and their herd against predators if necessary.

MAoI - Beradeo Snowbock

Name: Berado Snowbock

Environment: Mountains, Galciers

Diet: herbivore

The Snowbocks are Ileyeahs answer to our Ibex. Swift and nimble they spend their entire life on rocky cliffs and withstand the heaviest of snowstorms.
They still among the main prey of mountain hounds, who process the fur, the meat and the bones. The horns are usually turned into jewelry or ornaments, as they have a wonderful metallic violet sheen in them. The older the bock the brighter the horns become.

MAoI - Bidigit

Since I don't have the time to digitally colour my mammoth piece with all the critters in it, I thought about making a card for each of them, including a stylized version of it and a bit of environment. It was also time to include some of the creatures that have been added to my world by others through last year's art contest.

Environment: desert, burrows (I fail! I fail so much! D: Kiyasumeni had originally planned the Bidigits to be plainland critters and out of some unknown reason I stuffed them into the desert. ;____; I am so so freaking sorry!!)

MAoI - Blarf

Name: Blarf
Environment: Plainlands
Diet: carnivore

Blarfs are intelligent, friendly and very social. Nonetheless they are carnivorous and hunt for their food, having specialized on a diet that consists mostly of fish. They use their huge middle claws to throw the fish out of the water. The very same claws are also used for digging up juicy roots and fighting.
The coat of an adult Blarf is black and white, usally with a black facial mask and saddle. Variations are possible though and range from albinism to melanism. Anything in between in matters of amounts of black and white in the fur is possible.

MAoI - Bloppard

Name: Bloppard

Environment: plainlands, as well as tropical regions

Diet: omnivore, with stress on fish and birds

Except for their tails and "tentacles" Bloppards look very much like regular otters. They usually hunt for Felifeys (tiny Hummingbird-gryphons) by diving and only sticking out their tails, "fishing" for the birds with the fake blossom at the tip of their tail. They can also hunt for fish in a similar way by lying in the water on their back letting their tentacles float downwards, pretending to be algea. The very sensible limbs will react as soon as a fish comes close and curl around the prey.
