The Original Sofawolf

I painted this a month or so ago as a gift for a pair of good friends.

Back in July, they had to say their last goodbyes to a member of their family, Rio, the Original Sofawolf. She was a sweet old girl, with the cutest ears you'd ever seen on a husky!

Bit by bit, the comic is coming together. I'm happy to do be done with a couple of scenes which were getting (more than) a little tedious to paint. It gets remarkably boring to mix the same colors day in and day out.

FC Flyer

Artwork I did earlier this summer for Further Confusion 2011, specifically for a flyer to advertise next year's con, themed "Southern Crossing."

Since it was for a flyer, it seemed only natural to do a female kangaroo and a joey, since in some parts of Australia, flyer is slang for a female or a young 'roo. :]

EuroFurence Shirt: Serengeti

A month or so ago, I did the t-shirt design for the up coming EuroFurence, in Germany, Sept 1st-5th (one of the best darn conventions out there.)

With a theme like Serengeti, I really couldn't pass it up! :]


For "Serengeti," the Maasai word meaning "The place where the land moves on forever," the herd migrations were the first thing that came to mind. I originally had a water buffalo up front, but everyone figured something other than a cow would be more beneficial for shirt sales. ;]

Feral the 13th

Conbook cover for the upcoming Camp Feral, which will be celebrating it's 13th year as befits a furry camp-out...on a lake...in the middle of a forest...where no one can hear you scream. A bloody good time!

This is a piece done for a card--(well, technically, two adjoining cards) I did back in February for Furoticon, the adult furry card game. (www.furoticon.com)

Five Golden Rings

A holiday card design for a pair of good friends, commemorating their engagement and in the theme of the Twelve Days of Christmas.
Though...I'm not sure if a wolf and a fox can be trusted with all that poultry. ;]

Another small painting (about 5x7) made as a gift for someone who's now isolated from the internet in a cold and lonely land, and will not have the chance to see it online before the holidays.

Kitty Rat

A small holiday gift for a grandmother doesn't understand this curious system of tubes (a.k.a. the Internet) and thus, it's safe to hide it here as she'll never look. ;]

A pet portrait of a cat named Furby, affectionately called a kitty-rat, who's been both spayed and neutered.
If only I had a naff oval gold frame to put it in--oh, wait! I do!
