Snowshoe (X-Mas Card 2007)

I generally try to get around depicting the traditional Seasonal Symbolism. So, to take a break from the big cats I have had the past few years, I stick with a pun on a snowshoe.

Beowulf

During a conversation I casually declared, that I don't like to draw monsters, because I am afraid of them. Hence I would have to be afraid of my own drawings if I should ever draw monsters.

Well, the film Beowulf left my head filled with nice colours, especially the evil golden ones. And as golden dragons are the complematary colour to blue feilnes I couldn't help myself to want to put the dragon from Beowulf to paper. This picture shows the result thereof.

Headless Horseman

My picture for Halloween. As Halloween isn't widespread here in my parts of Europe, Halloween Parties are something one knows from US television soaps and films. Hence the merchandise on display in shops has a very USA-Highschool-Party feel to it. It bares no resemblance to the traditional Halloween my grandparents had in the northern parts of th UK. To me, grownups running around with "Scary Movie" masks has something highly surreal to it.

Some ideas are so surreal, that I gigglishly had to put them to paper: For instance PatriX and I mimicking the Heasless Horseman together.

Grande Casino - Eurofurence 13

This is my flatline posterdesign for Eurofurence. I have always liked tha grand Hotel Feel from centuries past, and was wondering if I could capture that with my flat colouring and reduced Linework. I chose a 1920ies approach, and even dashed in a bit of Jugendstil... and grande pomp and circumstances.

Epic Mount

This is a snippit from a larger picture I am currently working on: The whole idea bases off the idea of the Ford Puma car and leather accessories, bling... and WOW and... I dunnow... adds? A freind of mine bought a Ford Puma, a very very distinctively stylish car. Hence it wasn't too far off to make a mucle car a mucle cat.. mine of course is a tom :P

My Own Subculture

This is sorta a quick shot at a picture of a fellow artist, who thought it was a really cool idea to demonstrate his superiority over the general furry subculture by stashing a lot of pictures and photos in the background of his picture.

However some of the owners of said ohotos and pictures were less than amused, to find themselves "stereotyped fanbois" especially as they hadn't been asked to share in the prank.

I found the whole thing so clichee, I had to response by redifining my own superiority :D

My First Dildo

Omitting the obvious "My First Sony" pun and changing directly to "My Little Dildo", as it was a Horse, who supplied me with my first dildo.

Needless to say, my fascination was rather centred round the wobbely structure than the use. Silicone strctures and green jelly alike have some fascination to inner child.

Following the previous designs, I stook with the "Felines in Winter" Topic for this years Christmas Card. I generally try to get around depicting the traditional and overdrawn Seasonal Symbolism. This years card for instance even lacks the colour red.

A quick and dirty Pencil I dashed up for Eurofurence this year. References are fairly obvious: a Crossover from "The Lady and the Tramp" and "Pirates of the Carribbean II"

I have allways declared I would never do an Anubis - Picture. I find Anubis Pictures overrated, overhyped and overpriced...

Okay... but on the other side, I find it utmot amusing, that there should be such a (sex)hype over this acient god. I was always wondering where and how this started off... One night over a glass of wine the answer was emminent, and I was therefore forced to put an Anubis to paper XD.

lSince my peeps seemed so pleased and charmed by my Christmas card last year, I decided to continue the series. I want to stay away of too much festive symbolism and want to concentrate on the Winter and the activities related.

I need to think of a catchy name for the series.... Felines in Winter... or something

This picture was first presented at the Eurofurence Art Show. I have to admit to have been very heavily influenced by Kaze - Ghostwarrior whilst trying to let the liquid dye flow correctly. This picture shows what I kind of look out for in picutres, reduction in detail, line and colour...

A Body Painting session deemed the Blue_Panther to walk about with himself on his chest.

Since this is a snippet out of a general photo concept series, the lighting (day light) might seem a wee off for the close up.

In the wake of the MMC passed, I had to take some time to reflect upon current affairs. Naturally, my sketchbook accompanied me. In this case here, down to the banks of the River Rhine, overlooking the other side of town.

This cute awaking tiger was on display at MMC8 this year. I will have him with me at EF again if anyone is interested.

I have always wanted to do more graceous bed scenes with felines. I think I am slowly getting the hang of it :D

During the preparations for the MMC8 Convention this year (themed "Infinity") a lot of images popped up featuring old naval instruments in an obviously futuristic setting. "Infinity" (to be found in my "Design and Concepts" section) was the first picture of what I considered to be a series of pictures. However, since I entered it for the T-shirt competition, it was reduced in colour and line, thus breaking away from the design I had in mind for "Navigator".

The little series is no longer; "Navigator" is a unique picture of its own, only the idea of using an old instrument in the future remains... After all, this is still all about ships, isn't it?

Christmas Card 2004 entitled "xMas-sK8er"

I was inspired by a friend of mine, a cheetah, who declared he wanted to go skating one fine whinter's day. I have so rarely seen a picture with an ice skating feline. About time to catch up!

Sleaze - nothing but sleaze. Initially a picture for a friend's birthday, this thing turned from a seductive self portrait of my alter-ego to a lion in a shower. It remains discussable if it is now less seductive, but I can far more live with a "sessay lion in teh shower". So or so, it is wank material...

The entire Random Series (the set of all four pictures) was available for purchase at Eurofurence X. Perhaps folk didn't like how I foxed them, not to buy it >:D
