	Image: Cupid.jpg 526x700 70748 bytes 2004.09.01 So, this picture comes directly from the Eurofurence X where it was up for sale. I 'spose, this is the cutest homoerotic thing I have done in a while. I was always wondering how it might spark off between males, the most humorous answer being, that cupid either has a bad aim or a queer eye himself... I settled for the latter! Since this is drawn with wash and inks on paper, the original is fairly wavy, perhaps the reason this didn't sell. Inks, wash and patience.

As you might see, I was planing on dashing it through Illustrator (the flowy typo is the give away here), however I ran out of time to work on it. Thus the fairly rudimental typo and layout remained. I was thrown in doubt on the anatomy (partially because my doodle was incorrect and was lost in the process). My initial version showed the Tiger's left arm dangling over the rim of the bath tub, nearly touching the ground... That was late 2003! Now, 2004, I decide to let the dangling arm be, frisk it up on to the rim of the bath and add some bubbles for the touch. It comes to show that you can leave a piece for half a year and come up with a solution - eventually. Illustrator and a lot of nerves!

	Image: Chmarr.jpg 380x695 103255 bytes 2003.07.13 Running the VCL is a piece of cake... you just have to sit in the sun all day, perhaps do a bit of programming, occasionally publish a VCLPotD, eventually add some picture to your cool sketchbook collection and be alert in case a fire breaks out in the lobby, where all the artists meet and converse. Easy going life isn't it? If it weren't for all these tiresome rouge artists (like this here Blue_Panther) who occasionally draw these dreadful fanpicts of ones character! 	Image: ThailyTea.gif 592x842 96715 bytes 2003.07.13 Posterdesign and layout (originally a commission) for Thaily Brimstone to announce a Tea Party schedulled to be held at AnthroCon 03. Themed by the English influence of the event, I took to the coat of arms, placing the lion and the unicorn in the background. Since my client likes to shock a wee bit from time to time, the poster needs to bare a certain key element to attract the viewer. Hence I chose to place the beaker and the coffeepot to avoid the obvious full monty. In accordance with the VCL policy, the event details have been removed from this upload. Ink

Since I did it at work, it should be in the "@ Work" directory, however, since it's no random doodle, it doesn't quite fit in that collection... How is something like this made? Simple: Send a 20 page layout to the rip to be printed on the laser, wait, get bored, open Illustrator and start layering curves and squares! Define what colour to reduce to... today's pick is purple for some reason. Add signature Voilà! Illustrator

	Image: Vicious-Cheetah-in-Lingerie.gif 401x802 47288 bytes 2003.04.18 This is the Nr. one of a series of VCL - Pictures, mainly playing with the name. Suggestions of possible meanings (as to be read on the forum here) range from "Very Clean Lineart" to "Voluptuous Cheetahs in Lingerie" thus giving me the phrase for this vicious cheetah in lingerie! Of course the colours used are variations of teal (#005E74) and fox-red (#DA5A36), the colours of the VCL. Illustrator Alt descrit: Diz Picture is fer Ch'marr, coz he's such a kind admin!

I've always wanted one and seeing they were selling some costumes I dashed for it. A small victory, since I can finally call a servants overcoat my own! This picture was the first of 2003 with my trusted brushes again. Not perfect, but I like the lines, so I'm not going to correct it! Brush&Ink

Here on the VCL forum one might recall the self-acclaimed alpha-bitch of the dutchfurs biting, scratching and fighting her way through threads and posts. Though certainly not an easy lox to deal with, she occasionally surprised with indepth topics, issues and discussions (usually letting a biting second post follow) Those who cared, flew through the lines barely reading and those who hated certainly didn't even bother to do that. As an inevitable event (at least to some) after another major clash on the board the admin decided to silence that voice. I wondered what that might actually look like without accusing or offending ... this Illustartor pic bore those results.
