Posterdesign and layout (originally a commission) for Thaily Brimstone to announce a Tea Party schedulled to be held at AnthroCon 03. Themed by the English influence of the event, I took to the coat of arms, placing the lion and the unicorn in the background. Since my client likes to shock a wee bit from time to time, the poster needs to bare a certain key element to attract the viewer. Hence I chose to place the beaker and the coffeepot to avoid the obvious full monty.

In accordance with the VCL policy, the event details have been removed from this upload.

Thaily Attacks Fanbois!!!

There are some folk I owe thanx and credits to for helping me during the downtime of my compos at home. My entire drives went down at the beginning of September 2002, loosing most of my data... I'll start off with our VCL own Thaily Brimstone who was (per chance) on ICQ when I sent out my call for help from a computer in a local Internetcafe!

Thanks due to our Sus, who has always been a reliable source for comfort and inspiration... Her role during my Septembers compo crash? ... Well, she was there when she was needed!

What started off as a charming idea (as usual during a "waiting for the printer" session, developed into a drag! I was thrown in doubt on the anatomy (partially because my doodle was incorrect and was lost in the process). My initial version showed the Tiger's left arm dangling over the rim of the bath tub, nearly touching the ground... That was late 2003!

Now, 2004, I decide to let the dangling arm be, frisk it up on to the rim of the bath and add some bubbles for the touch. It comes to show that you can leave a piece for half a year and come up with a solution - eventually.

Illustrator and a lot of nerves!

This picture was first presented at the Eurofurence Art Show. I have to admit to have been very heavily influenced by Kaze - Ghostwarrior whilst trying to let the liquid dye flow correctly. This picture shows what I kind of look out for in picutres, reduction in detail, line and colour...

My first attempt with correctional fluid on a lager scale.
I found it quite interesting how the weight of the lines correspond together with the shades of the white. I wasn't expecting such a vivid result

Belated Entry to the VCL December 2003 Art Competition.

Remembering this years visit to Anthrocon and meeting Ch'marr, the lord of the buttons for the first time. Timid requests for a button of my own lead to a conversation thereafter...

This is the Nr. one of a series of VCL - Pictures, mainly playing with the name. Suggestions of possible meanings (as to be read on the forum here) range from "Very Clean Lineart" to "Voluptuous Cheetahs in Lingerie" thus giving me the phrase for this vicious cheetah in lingerie! Of course the colours used are variations of teal (#005E74) and fox-red (#DA5A36), the colours of the VCL.

Violence01

A series on the violent times we live in... Working in the media shows an increasing number of virtual and RL violence shaking our societies. Does this series justify or accuse violence? I don't know really, at least it makes violence a discussable topic...

Why Blue_Panther's work uploaded late in 2002 - The Computer

I wasn't always on time to deliver my art work... there are multiple reasons. What better than to do a small series about it?

This is based on an charcoal picture I did as a X-Mas present. Mist and freshly fallen snow give the mornings a certain haze... The world is white and clean!

Bluey and a ball of wool

Long time since I tried china markers for such detailed work! Depending on how hard you press the crayon, the more or less paper gets to shine through, especially if the paper used is uneven such as pergament paper.

My X-Mas Card for 2003. I tired to proclaim the self made and cosy aspects of the festive season. I - for one - like the preparations far more than the consuming.

Printed and distributed on standard A6 cards.

Christmas Card 2004 entitled "xMas-sK8er"

I was inspired by a friend of mine, a cheetah, who declared he wanted to go skating one fine whinter's day. I have so rarely seen a picture with an ice skating feline. About time to catch up!

lSince my peeps seemed so pleased and charmed by my Christmas card last year, I decided to continue the series. I want to stay away of too much festive symbolism and want to concentrate on the Winter and the activities related.

I need to think of a catchy name for the series.... Felines in Winter... or something

Snowtigers (X-Mas Card 2007)

Following the previous designs, I stook with the "Felines in Winter" Topic for this years Christmas Card. I generally try to get around depicting the traditional and overdrawn Seasonal Symbolism. This years card for instance even lacks the colour red.

Comments in LJ warmly wellcome.

Snowshoe (X-Mas Card 2007)

I generally try to get around depicting the traditional Seasonal Symbolism. So, to take a break from the big cats I have had the past few years, I stick with a pun on a snowshoe.
