Just yesterday I got the terrible news that I was losing a very very dear net friend, someone who I've come to care very deeply for. In losing her this way, I'd suddenly realized that I had another old friend, one whom I'd known iRL for over a decade and who I was slowly losing due to alot of my own selfish foolish stupidity. \r\nYes, I've been quietly mad at her for some time now. \r\nYes, I've been hurt by some of the things that were said and done.\r\nYes, many hurtful things were said and done by the both of us.\r\nI said I'd forgive and forget. \r\nAnd I did. \r\nExcept for one part of everything.\r\nI won't go into details of course, but suffice it to say I shouldn't have let this problem get in the way of a friendship I'd had for over ten years and a friendship that was one of the best I've ever had, even in it's hardest moments.\r\nI'm very sorry for the way I've acted over the past year or so, Monique. After missing her for some time, my WhiteDeath and I were able to get back together, and it made us so happy, that she went on a little drawing spree! Hey, look! It's Altyre! Yep, this is my favourite male character, a whole lot of fun to play, and he just seems to have some of the most interesting adventures and conversations. Yes, he's a cat, a calico cat at that, and before people email me saying male calico's are impossible, he's not a true calico. Let alone even a true cat. There is more to Alt than meets the eye. This is Akurei, the end result of a twisted and evil genetic experiment. She was designed, by an Overlander, to infiltrate the Mobian resistance and kingdom before the official start of the Great War and kill their leaders. Unfortunately, her 'programming' wasn't quite perfect, and she developed serious mental instabilities leading to malevolent and vengeful tendancies. She has proclaimed herself the Spirit of Evil and Death, and lives up to the claim. Akurei is (c) Carrie Riff.

This is my beloved and immenantly sexy Dart... he's the lucious hedgie who made it possible for me to meet and fall in love with my beloved Kyle, who I will be marrying this Saturday in real life! Well, after that depressing bit last night, it's time for something refreshing and kawaii! Yes.. she's not wearing anything, but that's cause after I drew it, I didn't want to chance ruining it by trying to put clothing on her. So.. I just didn't! how can you be so happy and yet so depressed all at the same time? how can you feel as though your life is only beginning, and yet feel so old? life is full of angst, stress and depression.. we all deal with it our own ways. this is how I deal with mine. on paper. yes, this is a completed picture. it's sketchy and rough with only a tiny amount of colour to help bring across the anger, frustration and despair I was feeling. I've been in a terrible artistic rut thanks to feeling inept, ingratitude and generaly unappreciated. and yes, I didn't draw anybody else -again-.. DEAL with it. *glare*

Okay.. I got tired of seeing just about nothing but massive antigravity breasts on skinny ass women in most artwork, -including- my own, and decided I was gonna draw something different this time! This is for all you larger ladies out there, like myself, who think you need to be a stick to be pretty and attractive. It took me a long time to realize that about myself, but thanks to my beloved fiance, Kyle, I've come to realize that big can be beautiful too. This is.. well.. me... ^^;; I tried.. it's my face, my body type, my hair. So, I guess it's me... and I'm starting to love who I am, despite my size, or maybe even a little bit because of it... cause if Kyle loves me as I am.. then maybe I should too...

I inked it! Yay! I'm lucky I was able to save it though.. I got water on it and the ink started to run and I was ready to cry cause I'd been working on it for like.. well over an hour or more. Hooray for Photoshop! I took it in there and cleaned it up, and yay! It's saved! I think I might sell prints of this one after I colour it. Interested in buying a print? Email me!

The Great God Anubis is god of both the dead, and of mummification. According to Ancient Egyptian Myth, Anubis himself embalmed and mummified the great Osirus, and placed his tomb under his protection. Tomb robbers would be a little leery of raiding tombs if they knew they were protected by the great god of the dead, Anubis. Specially if they saw something like this picture I drew... woo... nasty jackal warrior dood.. but wow.. I impressed myself.. it looks right! Yay!!! =D

I just LOVE Egyptian type things.. well, okay, Ancient Egypt type things.. hence why I was in line this past Friday (May 6th) for the opening night of 'The Mummy Returns'!! That was soooo cool! And the Army of Anubis was really killer! It's inspired some new artwork from me, this one is one of them! I'm working on another one right now, actually.. Okay.. my Tigger Warrior has set off a cascading effect within my brain. They are at war with the Rabbit Clan (Pic of Rabbit Warrior done by Aja Williams if you wanna see!) and the whole mess is being mediated by these simple peaceful folk. The Pooh Peacemakers. Isn't he serene? A lovely portrait of simplistic peaceful harmony with nature. But, like all peacemakers, they're also excellent fighters, well trained in the use of the staff he's holding. Whee.. I thought about this too much.. @.@

I'm not really sure where this one came from.. I think it was a mix of reading my Heavy Metal magazines and watching Winnie The Pooh with my two year old son... Anyways, this is what came of it. Yay!! I finally got around to designing my very own Battle Costume! I've often wondered why Tomoyo-chan never designed Sakura a Penguin costume seeing how much she likes them. So, I designed one myself! Isn't it kawaii? ^_^ I even made the little matching outfit for Kero-chan! Yay! I love Card Captor Sakura... ^_^

Last week, my beloved little boy, Indiana, fell very ill. He was so sick that he had to be hospitalized. It wasn't for a very long time, but while he was in the hospital, I absolutely refused to leave his side. My father, who was with me, finally forced me to go get something to eat and drink lest I pass out and be no use at all. It's given me a much larger appreciation for having a healthy son, and also made me marvel at the depth of my own love for him. This is for all children and their mothers. If you're reading this, take a moment to call your Mom and tell her you appreciate all the years she's loved you. I did.

I did this sketch after having to deal with a real prick of a dentist while being nice and going to my sisters dental clinic for school. (She's in the Dental Hygenist Program.) The f--ker was hurting me with that metal picky thing, and when I scrunched up my eyes, whimpered, and squirmed, he looked down at me and yelled "Calm down! It's not gonna kill you!" My sister was really pissed off, and my mouth hurt for hours after. Stupid @#$&%#....

I finally did a picture for Lizzie-chan! She did a 10,000 hits logo for my Furnation page.. goodness.. I think that was before Christmas. I finally managed to do a picture I was happy with in return!
