After watching most of "Love Hina", my bf (Errol) decided that he was going to nickname me "Katsune" after "Mistune". I did him one better.. I gave 'birth' to Katsune. Hehe. She's pretty much the same as regular Kat, only rather than being just a catgirl, she's full anthro (black and white housecat), though still prefers to wear clothing. For fun, I gave Katsune a second form -- a feline-kistune mix! She not a traditional Kistune or anything, just more like a lazy one whos tails produce a calming affect to those who watch them sway back and forth.

After looking for some Record of Loddos War pictures on the net, I was inspired to draw my own elf. I started the doodle at work, but it didn't come out as "elfish" as I planned. :P So I turned her into a fae. Also, I tried drawing a human nose on her rather than anime. ._. I'm not sure if that looks right.

This piece was actualy inspired by <a href="http://www.geocities.com/sephirothismine4ever/PSOgal.jpg">this</a> pic (PSO gal). I was also fiddling around with diffrent "shading" techniques and outlining. I think the star ruined the pic tho. :\ However, I do like how it turned out. ^_^

Along with experimenting drawing an owl, I also drew a Pheasant(?). My parents have a few stuffed ones that are on the wall, but they're pretty far from my view so I had to make out the details as best I could. ^_^;; Its not the best ever, but its good for a first try. :p

I've never really drawn an owl before. I was watching "Everyone Loves Raymon" with mom this evening and after looking at these wooden owl cut outs we have, I sketched out one. I think he reminds me a lot of Owl from Winnie the Pool, but honestly, o_o if anything I was mimicing the wooden owl cut outs.

Early in my Senior year of HS, I bought a book on "Drawing on the Funny Side of the Brain" (by Christopher Hart) and I was experimenting with my old Kitty Kathy Characters. I wanted to see what they would look like "Americainized", so using tips from the book, I drew this quick lil sketch of 'em. What do you think? Do they look better Americainized or the way I have them?
