Since my scanner is slowly trying to become a being of pure spiritual energy, I'm forcing myself to go 100% digital. I love the look my cat gives me before he bites my foot. Especially since I wear big shoes. Pretty sure I utterly failed to capture it. So, yes, all photoshop, trying to produce a watercolor effect. Feedback welcome.

It's an oekaki of an otter. No really.

Image: h8you.jpg   400x300 11975 bytes 2003.05.26

Show off :(

Image: fantailmermaidandeel.jpg   480x740 70770 bytes 2003.04.21

Hurray for goldfish. When the aliens come they'll make great pets. I messed up A LOT in this picture (mainly the feet and the shoulders) but I think it's still ok. Pen, pencil, and a lot of blue.

Image: fantailmermaid.jpg   530x734 36955 bytes 2003.04.19

Sing: My fish she has no eyelids, no eyelids has my fish...\r\n\r\nI have a pet goldfish. I stare intently at her a lot.\r\n\r\nPen, pencil, sharpie, and charcoal on blue paper.

Image: bunnyhead.png   300x300 37575 bytes 2003.03.11

Oekaki. Stress release.

Image: TGIF.gif   285x600 12709 bytes 2002.07.06

I do not think I uploaded this before because I am dumb.\r\n\r\nIt is a picture of me looking the way I usually do. Confused.

Image: givehershirtback.jpg   437x485 24847 bytes 2002.06.24

First of all, there are a TON of errors with this picture. But, I needed something to get my mojo on, since I haven't been able to draw anything in ages.\r\n\r\nI got to draw two of my favorite things - bug outfit and pirate! And boobs! Three! Three of my favorite things! \r\n\r\nQuick drawing of vixen pirate done with ball point pen and 2 colored pencils.

Image: auuuughdonthitmeforthis.gif   524x760 26542 bytes 2002.06.08

A ball point pen test drawing of an ass.\r\nTwice the original size.

Image: PinkMoFo.jpg   456x600 49789 bytes 2002.05.29

Thank your lucky stars that flourescent pink is not web-safe. It's really a sight in person.\r\n\r\nI made a lot of mistakes in this one, but I like his outfit. \r\n\r\nOnly real men wear/are drawn on pink.

Image: petfoxterrier.jpg   700x537 35352 bytes 2002.05.17

I like terriers. They run down holes in order to tackle huge beasties with teeth and claws and have little stubby tails that are built for being yanked on so that humans can haul them out of the holes.\r\n\r\nI'm not sure they'd make good dates.

Image: novatwinsfinal.jpg   460x600 66430 bytes 2002.05.15

A pen and ink commission for Moldred at for his Nova twins.\r\n\r\nIt took me about 5 and half to 6 hours just to ink it, not counting time on sketches or scanning. It looks like I hardly did anything. How sad for me.

Image: bunnyskunkforbark.jpg   466x600 41014 bytes 2002.05.08

It's...a bunny skunk. A partially undressed crossdressing bunny skunk. With a transmogrified border from a Dover clip art book.\r\n\r\nI think I'll submit this to Bark's portfolio. That is if I don't decide that it's horrible and toss it.

Image: teatime.jpg   346x485 62652 bytes 2002.04.16

A male dhole takes a tea break, and laps up some chai.\r\n\r\nThis image is actually a cropped version of a tasteful nude. I decided to trim him down for my archives because the internet tends to make tasteful nudes look like throbbing porn. So rather then deal with it I just chopped him up.\r\n\r\nColored pencils and red burnishing medium on textured maroon paper.

Image: eightiesbandwagon.gif   542x700 24672 bytes 2002.04.14

A belated picture for the manufactured "fad". It was a neat idea, 'cause the eighties had the best hair EVER (hahahahahaaaaa), but I'm slow. So this is Change as a member of Jem and the Halograms. Synergy is hooking me up with some special halographic effects. I threw a triangle in at the last minute 'cause I forgot about the "in a band" part. The picture should be flourescent pink, but I decided to spare you all the pain. Lots of anatomy and inking problems.

Image: pushandnegative.jpg   601x836 75834 bytes 2002.04.08

Here's a picture of Push and Negative, who belong to Push Tyber. Her gallery is here: Even though I'm not doing that 12-hour thing anymore, I am still working on the people that voluntered thir ideas to the cause. I really appreciate it!\r\n\r\nThis was ink on grey parchment cardstock. The composition isn't as good as it could have been because I was so excited to have the cardstock that I couldn't force myself to do any prelim sketches. And thus I forgot Push's tail, and Negative's legs are a bit wonky. Well...her legs under the skirt. And the moon is not like a moon at all.\r\n\r\nThe border was inspired by various art nouveau motifs in my dover clip art book, plus some old photos of flowers I found. They're supposed to be orchids, but it's hard to tell.\r\n\r\nNot much else to say except...I like girls :) Yay.

Image: kaz.jpg   737x600 63050 bytes 2002.04.03

Very very photoshopped. There's a lot of little things I would have liked to fix, but didn't because Photoshop was being uppity. Ever since I reformatted my hard drive and reinstalled everything Photoshop just doesn't work as well. I'm sure one day I'll either fix it or learn how to use something else. Kaz is the character of Karen Gunderson whom has a gallery here:

Sometimes when I'm stressed out I'll work on a picture with lots of lines as a sort of meditation/calming exercise. This has a lot of lines. I'm less stressed out, but still a little punchy. It's a kit fox with leopard spots. Referenced from about 3 on-line swift fox pictures and 4 different leopard photos I had stashed away in my filing cabinet. Right now I'm work on a kit fox cutey for a commission, so this more zoo picture was practice. Can't anthro a critter without knowing what it looks like first, right?

Image: tiger_arch2.jpg   712x450 28976 bytes 2002.03.17

Her left foot is wrong. And she's lying on the floor in a cheesecake photo-shoot with random sheets sort of thing. And it will be colored. But I've already put about 7 hours into the colored version, and it's no where near finished. So by the time it's uploaded this might already be buried in my archives.

Image: sharpiegenet.jpg   456x600 28003 bytes 2002.03.05

A retry of the genet's pose. She's in the lime-light. Get it? Hahahahaaa....I'm such a dork. Done on pastel gray paper with Sharpies, pen, colored pencils, and the last of my poor gray marker.

Image: genet.jpg   452x600 50617 bytes 2002.03.05

Here's a picture of a ring-tailed genet scaling a building. Ink, gray marker, and white gel pen on pastel gray paper. I really like how the little bit of the gargoyle face came out. Maybe next time I'll just do a gargoyle.

Image: fluffybeerevised.jpg   468x595 79422 bytes 2002.03.01

The paper this picture was orginally on was smudged, so I cut it out and pasted it to green paper and drew in violet apple blossoms. I think it looks better! The "white" outline is actually flourescent yellow, but it wouldn't scan. Can't blame my scanner though, it makes me feel a little blinded, too.

Image: fluffybee.jpg   440x600 53526 bytes 2002.02.23

It's a nice soft fluffy bee girl. My half of an art trade with Sus. The paper I was using was pale cream cotton correspondence paper. It's nice for resumes, but horrible for colored pencils! I wouldn't recommend it. Her actual eyes are supposed to be behind the giant hair-buns that look like pseudo-eyes, but it's hard to tell. :( Ah well, she's still pretty cute - at least I hope so.

Image: infinidance.gif   338x600 21908 bytes 2002.02.18

In my head this design looked much crisper. It's supposed to clearly say "infinite dance", but I don't know. Semi-ska inspired ink drawing of Miss Flutterfur in a kimono. I left out some of her markings, but who else could it be? As usual, comments welcome.

Image: dragonsheepcolor.jpg   508x706 40828 bytes 2002.02.05

A colored version of a dragon hugging a sheep. You can never have too much cuteness, wot eh?\r\nTook me awhile to color this, mostly because I didn't really know how I wanted it to look. I wanted it to look warm, but red was TOO much, so I settled on brown. Though is brown too blah?

Image: mousepooka.jpg   425x650 51816 bytes 2002.02.04

An older piece I realized I forgot to put up. Watercolor and ink mouse pooka. Saki herself

Image: sheepvalentine.jpg   406x283 26259 bytes 2002.02.01

I told mom that she should shear her sheep like they're fancy hedges. Y'know, so that they look like stars and hearts, and, uh, sheep. She thought I was joking. BWAHAHAHAHAAAA!!! Marker, pencil, and pencil wash on post-card stock.

Image: weaselpinup.jpg   453x800 51661 bytes 2002.01.31

This was an experiment in several things...firstly, I wanted to practice coloring a weasel-girl before I ruin a commission I'm working on. She looks like an otter, but that OK, because otters are weasels. Secondly, I wanted to practice celtic style borders. Lets just say I learned a lot.... and thirdly I wanted to practice metal. I...still need practice. Feel free to send me comments or hints. :)

Image: MSFvalentine.jpg   225x435 15091 bytes 2002.01.25

Here is a quick Valentine I made for a friend. I like the ribbon...but I've really got to invest in a warm gray colored pencil. Plus Miss Flutterfur's head is too big. I don't know what's with me lately...
