This is another attempt at the dragonfly character. I think I'll go back to purple and green. Also...her head is way to big. I guess I had a subconcious desire for chibi? Comments always welcome.

A simple drawing to try to further develop the body construction of the dragonfly. I think I'll name her Thrryrr. Comments are welcome! (Ink and metallic pencil)

This is a colored pencil drawing of a dragon fly lady. If you can't tell those big round globes are her hair - I was hoping that they'd aid in the dragonfly appearance, since the real critter has big round eyes.\r\n\r\nThis is the first concept sketch of something I hope will evolve into an idea I have of a pin-up print.\r\n\r\nFeel free to contact me with suggestions :)

"Miss Flutterfur Takes Off" - This is a quickly colored version of an ink original I did on commission. I didn't make the drawing with color in mind, so I'm not feeling inclined to spending a whole day on the CG. I just wanted it to look significantly different from the original that was sent off, but still have it be the same drawing. Am I making any sense?

A bonus drawing I included with my first sale. That way to oblivion...or to soar?\r\nŠ summer of 2001

This was my first major attempt at CG coloring. It took me forever ~ I'm really glad I got inspired to start reading tutorials.

I wanted this picture to show longing for the unattainable. A desire to be something you can never really be. This sea-creature has covered herself in star tats, but she probably will never be a cosmonaut.\r\nŠ early 2001

Recently I sent out a plea for more green gryphons, and here is my own rendition. I suppose that technically she is actually a green griff-taur. This piece was an experiment of feather and stone techniques. The stone obviously is not perfect yet, but I don't think her wings are half bad. I'm rather taken with this concept, and hopefully with practice I'll soon feel confident enough to tackle a watercolor version.

And here is a detail of the Miss Flutter Falling colored version. I just wanted to show how much detail was lost in the web-sized version (just in case anyone was wondering why it would take me 5 hours).

This is a Photoshopped version of the Miss Flutter Falling line art. It took me just a little over 5 hours to finish coloring. If you compare the 2 images you'll see that I smudged around a lot of lines and removed her nipples. They just looked a little silly in color.\r\n\r\nI added color to the border so it wouldn't look so black and heavy, but I'm not sure it looks right yet. If you have any input about anything about this piece I would REALLY appreciate it (kzinti@meowmail.com).\r\n\r\nIf anyone says that they are interested, I could offer nice prints of this.

The fat bunny is a continuing character in the comic I do with my friend, Catch A Heart. Here he is dressed up as a fat dragon for a Halloween special.

A small semi-frantic drawing of a crazed grackle. Done with colored pencils on black card-stock.

This is an Art Nouveau inspired blue and purple skunk. She was done with colored pencils on dark green paper. I'm not sure why she's dressed a bit like a nymph or a dryad, but I like it. I'll probably play with this style some more.
