Sky Battle

Don't worry. The dragon survives, the human provides him with a tasty barbecue lunch, and the gryphon is freed from human enslavement. XD

Angler Serpent

A glowy sea serpent. I hear bioluminescence is all the rage with the kids these days. Darn kids and their glowyness. Git off my lawn!

The brave Spartan warrior prepared himself to battle with the beast which had been the terror of the countryside for so long. But when he saw thse jaws closing upon him, he knew that his life would be at an end...

Will liked this one a lot. He is not easily impressed, so I must have done something right. Too many hours of work with marker and colored pencil!

Whee my first commission! Drawn for someone Angela knows in the Navy. He wanted something like my Serpent Dragon(grardragon.jpg here) but with the wings showing. I hope he likes it!

Apparently this may end up as the new logo for the local gaming club... At any rate I believe it's going on T-shirt pockets. I sketched it out before the STG meeting while waiting for Leise, since they were talking about not having a T-shirt design yet. Then we left after our business was done with and I refined it over food... I guess I'm the unofficial art person of the STG now, but hey, it looks good on a resume.

Another re-upload. Remind me to never clean up scans at 4 AM again! >.<

Drawn while I was attending JCC. People thought I should publish it. ^.^ It's actually a re-drawing of another dragon I drew back in middle school. I think this version is much better!

Drew this back when I was attending JCC. Didn't like it at the time but hey, it grew on me. Still think the look on his face is weird, but oh well. :/

Wolfy for the cover of the CD case. The fire on this one looks especially floofy. And oh bunnynuts, you know what I just realized? I didn't give him any teeth! O.o Oh well.

Yeah, I've done a bit with firehorses/nightmares. Also made for the CD cover project. Did I mention it was in Illustrator? Well it was. ^.^ Not really a dragon but it is breating fire I guess...

Rar, fire. Kinda old art from computer design class. I used it on a CD case project in there for Metallica's Black Album. Kinda pretty. ^.^

Pretty little blue dragon. Drawn with Prang colored pencils for a change, they have a smooth quaity closer to normal pencil lead than Prismas, which are rather waxy.

Pretty scaly dragon I drew. Based off one of those M. Pena sculptures, but not really. The pose is, the dragon herself is not. But she is rather pretty. I've been drawing much more scaly dragons lately.

Yay, my first upload since I've been in Oswego! This was inspired my the work of Brom, one of my favorite non-furry artists(although he does also paint furries, but I'm not sure if he knows). :) I like the paintings he did of undead dragons for the Dark Sun role-playing game. So pretty.

frilly_dragon.jpg

A graceful winged dragon catches the wind and flies above the treeline....

Will thought I should draw stuff with backgrounds for a change. :) They turn out quite pretty actually. I think I may re-use this image in a painting at some later date. Maybe as a mural in my house when I'm finally living with my mate. Or it could be a quick idea for some painting project for college. I also think I ought to draw more frilly dragons like that. So pretty. :)

stippley_dragon.jpg

Re-uploading with copyright info... this is one peice I definately do NOT want stolen! :)

I did stippling on this one. In the beginning all I wanted was to do a study of how a dragon's scales are placed, but it turned into something that took about 3 weeks of math classes(because I never need to pay attention in there... so much for college-level courses) with thousands of tiny little dots and much cramping of my wrist, and it was worth it. Jen thought I was "insane" and Will said that if he was in charge of portfolio reviews at some college and he saw this he'd accept me on the spot. :) I am quite proud of this one. I beleive I've gotten better at dragons through this. No more stippling for a while I think...
Remember, all of my art is (C) me, no stealing!

Went to the coffee shop for chai and drew a dragon. :) I based it off the black dragon from the 3rd edition Dungeons and Dragons Monster Manual. Don't actually own the book so I couldn't look at him, but that's okay because he's copyrighted anyway. I like this dragon a lot.

Cute baby dragon I drew because my friend Jen needed a reference for baby dragons. Unfortunately, this wasn't what she ahd in mind. Everyone else liked it though. Jen just wanted something that would match better with the mother, which she had already drawn.

dragonhead.JPG

Cool dragon I drew. Wanted to give him a body, but I couldn't figure it out so I left it and never got back to it.... I think he's cool. He looks so thoughtful. One of my friends says he has a kitty nose... *shrugs* Looks like a dragon nose to me.

spiralydragon.jpg
Image: spiralydragon.jpg   600x816 29980 bytes 2002.09.07

One of the better dragons I've drawn. I think I used an ebony pencil. Those things are really good for shading. I think it would look neat as a tattoo. Scanner bit part of his horn and his toes off. Couldn't fit the whole thing on there though. Pretty though, isn't he? Tried to make a Western dragon in a pose more like an Oriental. Kind of slinky and such. Pretty, pretty dragon...

ANDYDRG.jpg
Image: ANDYDRG.jpg   650x866 233553 bytes 2002.06.26

My sister's boyfriend wanted me to draw a dragon for him. And here it is! A pretty red dragoness with a nest. Done in Prismas with a touch of watercolor pencil. I almost killed it once with the watercolor pencil, but I managed to fix it. Then the scanner mutilated the sky.... oh well. It uas a pale blue and the clouds look a lot fluffier in the original. But anyway, I like it. And I hope Andy does too.
