Wow this one is really old... like 5 years old. From the days when Eek the Cat was still on TV. And yes, I got the idea from Sharky! I currently have episodes of Eek with German subtitles on my computer! I am amused.

A muscular kitty man I drew who looks vaguely puma-like. I think I really got the feline facial features down in this one! And I don't even recall using a photo reference. Muscles aren't bad either, think I looked in a drawing book for those....

Uploading some of my older stuff that I think is quite spaztabulous... from the short period when I had a sketchbook of black paper.

I draw demon doom. I think it started out as a skeletal dragon... but ended up more demony. And doomful. I'm gonna sing the doom song!

Chewtoy love ice cream. ^.^ Originally drawn for the Anthrocon conbook(for the Summer Games theme), but by the time I got around to submitting it the deadline had already passed... Oh well, next year!

Dawww, cute kitty! One of my very rare anime-styled pics, with lots of cute little flutterbys. In fact I think it's the first actual anime-styled pic I've done in a few years! Whee. And plantigrade feet. Since when do I draw plantigrade feet???

Possible tee-shirt design for the animal rights group on campus. Such an angry sheep. Well sheep are my favorite "farm" animals(followed by chickens, and then cows). They're so soft and wooly. I was actually able to get this done pretty quickly. Drawn with micron pen.

(C) "Squeaky" Chewtoy. No stealin.

Airbrush piece I did last summer. Yay nightmare! My mate helped me out with it a bit, figuring out how to work the airbrush and what not... Whee pretty! Looks like something you put on a car. O.o Hope the image quality isn't too bad... it is a digital photo, taken with my pretty good quality digital camera. Any blurring is the resuly of my bad airbrush skills. Must get better with that thing.

It's a crow... with CAWffee! HAHAHA! I crack me up! :p Anyway, inspired by Will's roommate, Justin... who likes coffee... and crows. ^.^ What is it with me drawing furs with beverages lately?

Bleh, such a bad scan. >^x.x^< Had to crop part of it too because it scanned weird... Lesson: No more bound sketchbooks....

Anyhoo... this is my submission for the Neopets art gallery(of all things). It's my gryphon(eyrie anyway... they're basically gryphons! :P ) Snooglesnoof. He is green. ^.^

One feral werewolfy drinkin soda. I surprised myself with this one. First wolf I've ever done in color actually. I think I used just about every shade of brown the Prismacolor company makes! >^@.@^<

Uploading my silly stings for the night. *grin*

An illustration for my friend White Lynx's kinky story series, "Satin's Tales." These are the main characters, Satori and Satin. They are cute! And I was up way too late working on this. Bleh. Sleep time now.

Spewfiend, a strange little spirit from Will's Mage game. He started out living in the Video Game Realm, and later ended up as a paradox spirit for my character - whacking me on the head with his ladle if I did magic!

But here's what he looks like. Will described him as a fuzzy green Ewok in a red bajha shirt... So I interpreted him like this. In marker and colored pencil goodness. My first serious try with markers by the way. :)

Art (C) "Squeaky" Chewtoy
Spewfiend (C) Willie Rexroat, I suppose

ocelotfae.jpg

It's a furry faerie! A furfae... faefur... um... Well whatever you call it, she's an ocelot! :) Made with watercolors and colored pencil! And my watercolors still want to beat me up!

Might end up doing a series of furry faeries. They're spiffy!

I've been drawing many felines with sticks lately. This is one of them. More will come, I'm going to color those ones first though. (Which means it will take a few months!)

They moved this one to sketches too... Of course I also forgot my copyright infor so I'd probably have re-uploaded it anyways. :P

Two of my newer characters, another pic that's about 6 months old. The female doesn't have a name yet; the male is known as Pawliger. I decided over time to make Pawliger bigger than he is drawn here, although I still like this pic a lot. He's a black liger with silver stripes and a siver mane. The female is afraid of humans; Pawliger thinks they taste good. She is his jungle mistress and he is her protector. And yes, these characters also represent me and my mate. :) And if they look familiar, yes, I also drew them on one of my bookmarks that's also in my archive someplace! :)

Re-uploaded, hopefully fixed... was moved to Sketched before.

I believe this pic is my first try at a cattaur. He's yawning and stretching. Must've just woken up... Drew this one about 6 months ago. I may color it with Photoshop someday... I know I say that about a lot of my pencil drawings. :P Maybe I actually will get to one or two of them someday....

Hammer! Grawr!

Do werewolves actually NEED hammers? :\

vicious3.jpg
Image: vicious3.jpg   432x800 48626 bytes 2003.08.07

Well I guess it's about time I uploaded something new! I've been wanting to color more of my art and get it looking more "finished" before uploading it but... eh... PENCIL!

Anyway, just another pic of "Vicious" Willie, my mate as a werewolfy. :) He likes eating people.

mypetraptor.jpg
Image: mypetraptor.jpg   600x429 34488 bytes 2003.05.26

I want a pet velociraptor. I drew this while watching Jurassic Park. Of course the raptors in there are pretty inaccurate, more like utahraptors than velociraptors. And if you notice at the beginning they're digging up a "velociraptor" skeleton in Montana, but velociraptors didn't even live in Montana, they're from Asia! This is the scientific version, only 3 feet tall with feathers, and Asian(but the Asian part isn't so obvious). Okay, maybe he is a little too big since I'm 5 feet 5 inches, but still so cute. :) And if you're wondering, yeah, I am kind of a biology nerd and I tend to yell at movies a lot if they have inaccuracies about animals. :)

raptorgryphon.JPG
Image: raptorgryphon.JPG   836x496 57715 bytes 2003.04.01

This is my neat little raptor gryphon. I fugured, gryphons are half bird, and raptors are pretty close to birds though evolution, so a raptor would make for a great gryf! Look, I even made him feathery! I don't usually do that with raptors but it does make it look all cute and cuddly... even if the face does look like it's going to ite someone's face off. And I've gotten questions on why this gryf has no wings. Well when you think about animals, birds' wings are in the same spot where other creatures have front legs or arms, so a raptor would simply have arms there. See, I paid attention ib biology class! :)

domestic_werewolfy.jpg
Image: domestic_werewolfy.jpg   800x415 27042 bytes 2003.04.01

This here's a werewolfy with that empty domestic look on his face that you see in most dogs. That aspect came about by accident, but it makes him cute. :) More fun with acrylics, yay! I gave him a sort of fantastical coloration because I thought it would look pretty, and I'm all about the fantastical besides(hey, that's why I like furries). :)

chewtoy-niftydress.jpg
Image: chewtoy-niftydress.jpg   390x740 55329 bytes 2003.04.01

Cute picture of me in a really neat-looking dress. It's sort of a tunic/dress design I came up with although the style probably originated a really long time ago. And I'm blue in this picture... If you haven't noticed, I'm usually green, but I made an exception for once. One time my mate mentioned he'd like it if I had blue fur all over, so I'm pleasing him, because that's what lovers are for. :) I'll go back to green after this, but blue is rather pretty. Actually I think my fursona can change colors at will. My dragon character IcyFlamez could do it(but then she stayed tie-dye so I haven't drawn her for a while, for fear of tie-dye coloring of doom). That's probably why I sometimes give her blonde hair and other times blue hair and now green hair, and I've even colored her brown before(No! Not NORMAL cat colors! DOOM!!!).

The "Squeaky" Chewtoy is (C) the "Squeaky" Chewtoy, and so is the art.

horsey.JPG
Image: horsey.JPG   550x996 48626 bytes 2003.02.23

I never drew a horse morph before. This one came out good I think. Looks like he's angry at his carrot...
Note to self: draw more pants. They look good! Somehow I always manage to draw jeans well. Don't even ask me how, I just manage.

lionman-painted.jpg
Image: lionman-painted.jpg   450x572 48590 bytes 2003.02.23

If this looks familiar, look at Lionman.jpg. :) All I did was switch it backwards and paint it with acrylics. Through this I've discovered that I'm really not too bad at painting after all. I actually did this for a project in design class. We had to make an image that used a cool color for the background, a warm color to show shadows, and a warm color to show highlights. Well, at first I used yellow for the highlights and I didn't like it at all, so now the the project is over with I went back and fixed it with white paint. And lots and lots of blending... The scanner kind of mutilated some things, like the edges of where the blue and brown meet really on't look that hard and dark. But at least you get to see it! :) I'm going to play with paint some more tomorrow, so look for more acrylic works from me!

Yay, Vicious! Looks like a new standad for my uploads... I did a pretty good job. I feel like I've been improving a lot lately. I guess it helps that I'm taking college art classes... God I hate it when I actually learn stuff in school! :P

Vicious and image (C) "Sqeaky" Chewtoy, as always.

grizabella.jpg

This is my interpretation of Grizabella from Cats as a fur. I really like Cats. I saw it once when it played in Buffalo and I'd love to see it again! :)

catsmeow-color.jpg

Yay, I finally finished my lesbian dance club poster! It took a year for me to finally poke myself into finishing it, but it's done! I like how it came out. It's one of my first graphic-designey-type projects... Looks really good. Sketched it in pencil and finished the whole thing in Photoshop. If you're wondering about the cool font, it's called Incantation, and I think I got it from fontguy.com. Chose it cuz it looked all whiskerey, like a kitty. I'm proud of this pic. I think girls are cute together... but I am happy with my male. :)

de'seriax_flying.jpg
Image: de'seriax_flying.jpg   600x840 92056 bytes 2002.12.21

Second pic for my art trade with Kata! This is her character De'Seriax, an Egyptian winged kitty. This one took a while and still didn't scan quite right. There is more detail on the wings, but I guess it was too light and didn't want to scan... oh well. Maybe one day I'll meet Kata and be able to show her the real thing. :) This one's mixed media. I used Prismas and acrylic paint for the character herself and Photoshop for the background. I tried doing the background in watercolor, but.... nuh-uh. Didn't want to cooperate with me, I've never gotten along with watercolors. Anyway, yeah, I did kind of cheat and use "Render Clouds" for the background. :) And I also had troble getting De's coloring right... it's sort of yellowy-light-broun and this one's just.... brown. I tried but I couldn't seem to get it quite right. Oh well, I hope this one is good enough. :) This art trade has kind of inspired me to finish some of the things I do for myself, now that I've gotten some practice. I'm lazy on my own. :) It was fun. Thank you so much Kata!!!

Re-upload because I forgot the tattoo. Silly me. :)

De'Seriax is (C) Kata, art (C) me.

Art trade with Kata!!! Her art is very cute and also on VCL, so go check it out! :) I'm doing another pic of one more of her characters too, check back for that. :)

Characters are (C) Kata and art is (C) me.

Re-uploading this one after cleaning up the background. See, all clean now. :)
