It was also fun turning Felicia into a '3-d' character, as opposed to seeing her in '2-d' black and white sketches. I've been using it as a promo piece, but am considering using it for a future book. 	Image: GothicFox.jpg 312x468 44791 bytes 2004.11.22 This was the cover for MU Press' WILD KINGDOM #13. (I also did the logo design for that particular issue.) I was having fun, and paying homage to some great old Neal Adams' covers for DC Comics' HOUSE OF MYSTERY and HOUSE OF SECRETS from the 1960's and 1970's. It wound up getting nominated (but not winning, darn) the Ursa Major Award for best illustration for 2002. Needless to say, I'm rather proud of it. All in Prismacolor pencils. I rather like this particular drawing and thought I would turn it into a color piece. Apart from a couple of niggling details, I rather like the way it came out. All done with Prismacolor pencils.
