Cover for Chucky #2

What an annoying pain in the ass this was, but it sure turned out nice. So here's what the cover for Chucky #2 looks like. I'll probably tweak the positioning of a few things before I consider it completely finished. I hope this image isn't too 'busy' with all the background detail.

Chucky and Adam are supposed to be the main focus of the picture, with the background only establishing a little theme and setting. But I wanted to throw Ian in there too since he becomes such an influential part of the story.

Chucky's first date with Tanya goes very well. They surprise each other by looking during their goodnight kiss, and walk back to their respective dorms with that warm fuzzy feeling knowing that it's for real.

Chucky and Tanya's first date was also the first time Tanya tried beer, or any alcohol for that matter. Everyone knows this, and they're all anticipating her taking that first drink. No pressure here.

Tanya clutches her favorite stuffed camel(my attempt at a camel anyway) shortly after arriving in her college dorm. Tired, weary, and 7000 miles from home in a strange place can make one a little depressed. Being a bit on the shy and underconfident side, Tanya took a single occupancy room.

Uh-oh, social situation ahead for Tanya. Possible mandatory interaction with other students, or maybe even a presentation. Quick drawing finished at Anthrocon '06.

Autumn is mature and beautiful. She has some control of heat and some of water. For the most part she brings tranquility but can manipulate life using water and light to paint ultimate natural beauty.

This was done for BlindRabbit, who I'm assuming isn't actually blind since otherwise he wouldn't have asked for a drawing. The character came out a little more stylish than I intended, but I like him.

This is how I felt about spending my first winter in New England. The complete and absolute boredom inspired this drawing.

It's Bunnypuss!

Bunnypuss is a pet name my brother uses for his girlfriend. So he asked me one day to draw a 'bunnypuss'. This is what I came up with. A few different personalities and styles. I can't take full credit for the black one, she's loosely inspired by an old Easter Bunny drawing on my hard drive. Not sure of the artist's name.

Ah, the distractions of college. Chucky has been quite surprised at what some college female furs wear. Such as the little prude sitting in front of him here. Gotta be sneaky checking out that butt-floss.

Harrison meets Chucky at his window one morning early before school. Chucky, who decided to sleep in the nude is a little embarrassed and trying to cover up. Doesn't Harrison look rather 'happy' to see Chucky? Note the similar expression on future drawings of Harrison by Arin Wolff and myself.

My drawing for Califur '06. Chucky is so non-threatening he'd actually make a horrible pirate, unless the plunderees have a huge fear of skunks.

Drew this as a CD cover for a CD I burned for my gf. It's full of skunkie music.

At the same restaurant that served 'Chocolate Mouse' for dessert, we also heard one waitress ask another if they had cheese in their basement. Well of course only a couple of furs would come up with an image to go with it.

A collaboration between myself and Arin Wolff. This is an inside joke about my fuzzy little roomate being covered in chocolate. Arin Wolff drew Chucky, I drew my roomie and the couch.

My first upload! This is my first drawing of my character Chucky the Skunk from March 1998. As I upload more you'll see how he's changed.

I made a sculpture of Chucky while in CA during Christmas Break 2001. It comes in real handy sometimes for drawing at odd angles.

Outside his dorm freshman year in college, Chucky meets a very nervous Tanya, who becomes his first real girlfriend. Tanya's appearance is inspired on a mouse named Tanya from a certain movie, but this is NOT the same character. Chars (c) me.

Color section header

I set up a little portfolio for myself for FC. This is the header for my color section. I like how this came out, drew it on a whim.

I drew this for a friend for his birthday. This is the scheme he'd like to have on his Mercury Cougar. I don't draw cars much but I'm happy with how it turned out.
