Just trying to copy Twapa's Flash vector style ;) Fun stuff! This was just a test, but one thing's for sure: I figured out how to do feathers if i ever need to! XD

"Despair" Another painting/collage thing. This one is 12"x18" (scanned in 6 parts! woo yay! x.x). Honestly, i don't know where this came from cuz im not depressed or upset at all... It just happened lol

Mixed media (black canson paper, brown paper bag, marker, inkpen, gel pen, magazine clippings, fortune cookie papers, temporary tattoos, grade reports, sketchbook doodles, and oil paints) on illustration board.

My mate wasn't too happy the other day, so i drew this to try and cheer him up... I only meant for it to be a sketch, but i kept working it, n thus, here you have it!

Rats...are so evil.
They worm their way into your hearts...you love them...so much..and then they just die after a year or three. Evil critters... they break my heart time and time again.
But i wouldn't trade my pet rats for anything! They are so worth it. Yes, that means i LOOOOOVE rats :D

This didn't start out meaning anything, it was just a sketch of myself in a dress similar to my prom dress..but then i kept adding things, and it took on lots of meaning. Lyrics are from the song "Don't Fake This" by Chevelle, only the word "in" has been changed to "with" in this image.
Inks, Prismacolor markers and coloured pencils, and gelpen on 8x11inch sketchbook paper.

Painted the other day... Took just over two hours. Clean-up was great fun *sarcasm* Just a collage of images and thoughts.... ... .. .

Oil paints, newspaper, brushpen, prisma markers, ballpoint pen, ink, crushed dried rose petals and leaves on an 18x8 inch slab of mattboard.

A scribble for my college dorm door cuz nearly everyone here calls me Cricket, and some don't even know my real name... and there is no mention of any such "Cricket" on my door :P It can cause confusion!

Image is 8x13.5 inches; inked in sharpie, coloured in Prisma marker with sharpied-over-by-hand computer text, all cut out and glued onto a slice of mattboard (i love that stuff!).

Inked with a brown chocolate-scented gel pen, cut out of the paper in my sketchbook (yes, that took a few hours! *rubs her poor hand*); on a "scrap" piece of mattboard (about 11.5x7.5 inches) i drew the waterfall, rock and fern (various colours of brush pen and gel pen), then pasted the wolf-girl on it, coloured her, drew the border with purple gel pen, coloured it in with coloured pencil, and added more to the water Fern is standing in.

Oh, and the bird got the same treatment.
(btw, the mattboard is off-white)

*sniggers* I had to do it sooner or later; trying to figure out what a Roo/Cricket would look like :> I like 9 the best (hence the "*" and it being bigger), but your imput is welcome as well. I've even included an uncoloured one in case you feel like suggesting new markings all together ^^

Coloured version... I hate Microns...if you put enough layers of ink down, the markers pick it up and smear it all over >.< I think i salvaged this okay though. Too bad my scanner hates my 'blonde wood' marker colour; it's so much more vibrant than the dull tan areas here!

Don't mind him, he's just thinking he makes the dodge and burn tools look good...

Random something i painted in my sparce spare time here at college. I don't know what it is..but hey, still kinda fun. I recorded this into a little .rif movie file and its really fun to watch over and over again...

Quick test for the new scanner i got for my birthday. It..kinda failed :( That orange highlighting... you can barely tell it's there irl. The apple though, well, my old scanner would totally flatten out red tones, but this one doesn't :D I don't like how it handles sketchy pencil lines either, or slightly off-white areas. Totally washes stuff out, and i can't manage to fix it :( But, so as not to be too hard on my scanner, i'll admit that i too failed at drawing this image...it's so stupid and ugly!

Yes, i saw her head in the carpet pattern at our cottage...

Roo wants a tattoo... He made a little sketch for me a few weeks ago, and i took it from there; making my own version and inking it in Flash. I then tried to draw it on his arm today, but it didn't go as well as i wanted. The one photographed is on his right bicep, and the mostly-white one is on his left, but i really screwed that one up, so you don't get to see it :P
