In real life, Snape tried to eat Drifter when he was born, that is why Drifter has only one eye. Dende was already dead, so he never got to met Snape or Drifter

He can make the stones into magical items, but if he does it takes a bit of him self away. The last item he made was CuB's collar, he lost his ability to speak, for his muzzle is now gone.
