Trouble in the Office

A detective catgirl causes a commotion in the police department! Some times being too sexy is such a problem!
This was a commission.

Golden Dragon

This took like 4 days to do. It's painted on vellum bristol paper, 13 x 17 inches with two coats of gesso. Then painted with a combination of acrylic ink and acrylic paint mixed with more gesso. Gesso is my new best friend! I also used a bit of colored pencil. I tweeked this a bit with photoshop after my scanner ate it.

I think I finally have the hang of this technique. Of course this is inspired by Goldenwolf's style.

I've had a lot of requests for the White Cat print I did several years ago. But since it was limited to only a few pieces I couldn't make any more prints. So I have recreated the char in a new piece. I hope you all enjoy it as much as the old one. Markers and pencils and water colors on cardstock.

I got inspired and to help me outta my art funk I did this drawing over the last two days.

Does it still look like a pin up ? I've been trying to find ways to get away from that certain look so I can have more variety to my art.

Not sure what species of cat I'm gunna make her. Origionally I had intended a snow leopard but i ended up making such an elaborate costume I'm a bit concerned that doing spots would make the image too busy.

I really just wanted to do something fun and something spontaneous that didn't have any one else dictating what needed to be done. I like how it turned out. Now back to work on commissions...
