Finally! I have my first Painter digital illustraition. It took forever! Comments and suggestions please! I drew the sketch on paper, then ended up redoing it on paper and shading it in some then colored the rest of it in Painter and a bit in Photoshop.

More playing around with Open Canvas. I discovered a new characteristic of the paintbrush tool. I REALLY like how this came out.

This was a commission for WildWolf. He's dripping syrup on Anubis. It's 11x 17 bristol, watercolor, color pencil and prismamarkers and white ink.

After some critiques of the origional version I've redone him, made his body a bit thicker around the middle, fixed his face a bit to look more lupine, fixed the leg and the armlet. Let me know if the improved version works better. Thanks!

Ok it's finally finished! It's done on thick illustration board, rough texture. Colored with : every art supply I own just about.

I REALLY like how this one turned out! I especially like the rocks. I need to try to do that technique more often. Again 8.5 x 11 on cardstock. prisma marker, pencils and lots of white ink. On top of that is a faber castell pitt artist pen that is a brush pen type (I highly recomend getting some) and the uniball vision micro .5. I love em!

This is a picture of a character I've drawn a few times. She doesn't have a name yet, she's sort of a female Anubis. I've got limited prints of it too! I often put them on furbid so keep and eye out for them! It was done on cardstock with prisma markers, color pencils and white ink/acrylic. It's one of my favs!
