Spectacled Bear

Just a different species of bear. If you don't know what a spectacled bear is, use your best friend Google.

I had to buy a new N7 Gray COPIC marker to finish this piece, but I'm glad he's done. Drawing number 2 of 2 that needed to be done in three days before Camp Feral!. I love him, he's really hot. Overalls are teh murr!

Much thanks to Yennix for some suggestions on additional details, and to Ferris for lending me one of his nice inking pens when my Micron died while touching up the final ink lines. I need to find a way of touching up my lines without my pens dying (it was a BRAND NEW Micron 02).

Raver Coon

I turned a random anatomy doodle into a skinny raver boi. When it came time to add details, I decided to use my neglected coon boy, Seth.

I'd like to thank Ash Bearfox for helping out with some of the details. I really love the way this picture turned out, especially after working on it at the cottage and waiting for three weeks to come home and colour it.

Seated Collie

This is the finished drawing. It took me way too long to finish this piece, and although I am not completely satisfied with the colouring job, I admit I haven't used my markers and Prismacolors in a long time.

This image debuted at C-ACE 2007. Though I didn't sell any prints, I received a lot of comments.

Balto Plush

This is one of the pictures that I did at C-ACE. The customer had a themed sketchbook called "Now We Are Plush!". It had several drawings such as Yoda, Batman & Robin, etc, all as plushies.

I admit BALTO is a little EASY to draw as a plush, but it was the only thing I could think of as a "recognizable character" that I could successfully draw as a plush.

Lil' Blue Wolf

My half of a trade with Lil' Blue Wolf. She did two nice pics for me, and I drew this last year during my "art funk". Just managed to get it done a few weeks ago, and I was waiting to hear from her.

I honestly don't like the way it turned out. I attempted to draw her using a mix of my style and her style and it turned up looking rotten I think. I promised to do another picture for her in the near future.

The background was put together using PhotoShop and the guides. I think it's probably the best part of the whole picture, and you don't even get to see half of it. =P

Naughty Wolf - ADULT VERSION

I was able to put the finishing touches on the "naughty wolf" drawing I originally posted back in March. The colours took me a while to do, and I was waiting on a 3D background by a friend of mine. Finally got the background and picture done.

I really love the way this drawing turned out, especially after having severe art block since August 2005.

I am releasing a CLEAN version also. Stay posted!

Ebony Shiremane

This is a long-running commission for a friend of mine, Ebon. Yes, he's a WHITE stallion. But his name is Ebony (black) Shiremane. He's a shire horse with a black mane. I dunno, he's an odd pony. ^_^

I kinda fudged the shading job getting it done. I just wanted to get it finished. But Ebon liked it, so here you go! I don't normally draw horses. This was drawn back in 2005 using a photo of a shire as reference.

Fox and Coon Yiff

I originally drew this picture at work (>_>) around 2002 and did some touchups and colouring in 2005. The 3D background was rendered by my digital whore, Dark Rift.

I need to work on more yiffy art.

Tired Wolf

This drawing was based on a warehouse where I used to work. We'd unload tires and "lump" them onto skids that were taking into the warehouse. Bring a lumper sucked, but I lost like 15 pounds in 3 weeks.

The foreground tires and photo backgrounds are from the actual warehouse.

Tiger With A Towel In River

I had a local artist help with some of the pose and anatomy details. It was suggested to add glasses to make him look cuter. Water details on the submerged legs were a nuisance.

Photo background, Photoshop.

Saber Toothed Boy

This sketch was originally a fanart of Diego from Ice Age, that I ended up changing into a random cute saber boy. I like the features around the eyes as well as the little fur details.

Photo background.

I birthday gift for my good friend Pistol Kyote. I don't usually draw females, but I liked the way this turned out. Added a ton of new Photoshop effects, including an eye tutorial I found online, and did a little cut-and-paste with the bottle of Jose Cuervo tequila.

Ole!

cw_leopard-samurai.jpg
Image: cw_leopard-samurai.jpg   500x656 87256 bytes 2005.01.12

I've always liked samurai, and I love snow leopards. Add a fancy purple tunic and a pair of razor sharp kodatchi and you've got a lethal combination.

This picture is actually incomplete because I forgot to add blood spatter to his tunic. Ah well. My bad! =P

cw_jafra-basketball.jpg
Image: cw_jafra-basketball.jpg   500x656 58535 bytes 2005.01.12

A picture I did for Jafra after his species change to a wohofobuchip (wolf-husky-fox-bunny-chipmunk). Don't ask. Apparently he likes being unique.

I added the basketball because I know he always played ball at Camp Feral!. Another coordinated attack by COPIC and Prismacolor.

cw_prplhaze.jpg
Image: cw_prplhaze.jpg   500x656 66302 bytes 2005.01.12

This is a picture I drew for my friend Prplhaze at C-ACE 2003 in Ottawa, Canada. He's a purple polar bear.

cw_flower-fox.jpg
Image: cw_flower-fox.jpg   500x656 129283 bytes 2005.01.12

This is my first full-size picture with my set of COPIC markers. These things are GOD! I love them! The details and lighting were added using Prisma coloured pencils. The dynamic duo!

I was taught how to colour with markers by Frank Gembeck. Looks like the time I spent with him at AC 2002 paid off. I really love how this picture turned out.

cw_khaki-raver.jpg
Image: cw_khaki-raver.jpg   656x500 54179 bytes 2005.01.02

This was the result of an Art Ambush in the FurNet channel #vcl. The subject that night was "What Moves You?". Khaki is always moving to good music - mainly dance/trance. A good beat always gets his tail swinging.

Unlike my ex-boyfriend, I haven't fallen prey to the lures of every drug available to man. =P

cw_native-wolf.jpg
Image: cw_native-wolf.jpg   656x500 96025 bytes 2005.01.02

At the time, this was probably my nicest image. Using a photo background I found on a desktop wallpaper site, and vector graphics imported from CorelDraw 11.

The war club was scanned in from an old Buffalo Bill Wild West Annual book I have from 1955, and the "tattoo" on his chest is a native symbol for "wolf".

cw_shower-coon.jpg
Image: cw_shower-coon.jpg   500x656 74923 bytes 2005.01.02

A random semi-naughty picture of a raccoon. I don't know whether this is Seth or not... then again, Seth has brown eyes. Maybe a relative, or boyfriend? I need to draw more pics of my coonboy.

The metal bar was created using a tutorial on http://www.thewebmachine.com/

It's an incredible resource for all sorts of Photoshop techniques! I've since started using the "eyeball" technique in my ditigal illustrations.

cw_max.jpg

An art trade I did with Firestorm Six. I liked the idea of putting Max on a nice Yamana bike. The image is composed of three elements: CGI background, scanned photo of the bike, and digitally colorued artwork.

cw_todd.jpg
Image: cw_todd.jpg   500x656 62983 bytes 2005.01.02

My first finished image of 2003.

A paid commission I did for a foxy friend of mine, Todd. It always seems like people I draw pictures for change after I have drawn them. Now Todd is a kitsune with three tails. UGH.

*Once again, credit for the background goes to my CGI whore, Dark Rift.

cw_path-hyena.jpg
Image: cw_path-hyena.jpg   656x500 81784 bytes 2005.01.02

A gift I did for my friend Ed The Hyena (aka: Path) when he was terribly sick with the flu. The text reflects a chat we had during that time.

He was overjoyed that I'd given him a computer with an LCD screen. =)

cw_snow-leopard.jpg
Image: cw_snow-leopard.jpg   500x656 67277 bytes 2005.01.02

Random snow leopard I drew at college and coloured using my Prisma pencils. I eventually bought a set of COPIC markers in 2003.

People has asked me why he's crying. I never came up with an answer.

cw_lion-raver.jpg
Image: cw_lion-raver.jpg   500x656 58647 bytes 2005.01.02

This is a gift I made for my ex-boyfriend Lion Nova for his birthday in November 2002. The irony of this picture is that he began a life of drugs, booze, and carelessness.

cw_wotan.jpg
Image: cw_wotan.jpg   699x500 159724 bytes 2005.01.02

A commission I did for Wotan at Feral! 2002. The characters Wotan and Edolus are from a story he had written, and explained to me in-depth as I drew the picture. He liked the way I captured the emotion in the picture as perfectly as it was told in the story.

You can check out Wotan at his Furnation site:

cw_kurofox.jpg
Image: cw_kurofox.jpg   500x656 50519 bytes 2005.01.02

A commission I did for my dear friend Kuro The Fox. Yes I know the torso is too long, and the legs are too short. I'm getting better, really! =)

<3 to Kuro. *wags*

cw_falstaff.jpg
Image: cw_falstaff.jpg   500x656 80492 bytes 2005.01.02

In the summer of 2002, Jessica Willard was the Guest of Honour at Camp Feral!. As a surprise gift, I drew this picture of Falstaff and got everyone at the con to sign the backside of it. Needless to say, I got a hug out of it. =)

PS: Dark Rift is my CG whore. =)

cw_boybits.jpg
Image: cw_boybits.jpg   500x656 62216 bytes 2005.01.02

This is the first picture I drew of my fursona, after switching from Cyberwulfe* to Khaki Wolf. Wanting to make a good impression, the naughty Khaki shows off his "boy bits" and gold piercing (which is on the sheath, not his cock - OW OW OW!!).

*I kept Cyberwulfe as my "pen name"

cw_demifur.jpg
Image: cw_demifur.jpg   500x656 71532 bytes 2005.01.02

This is a commission I did for a friend of mine, Demifur. It was an awkward commission, as he told me he was a spotted mephit skunk with multi-coloured dreadlocks.

He seemed to like the result.
