I wanted a monotone, earthtone look for this painting. Everyone noticed how this one strays from my usual style. I like how the tightened abdominal muscles gives the feeling that she's blowing into the panpipe.

This painting always gets the strangest reactions. People don't know whether to cringe or become aroused. That contrast of emotion is the kind of response I like to get with my art.

The second of my sexy angel series. The first is only offered at auction at the CONs.

This was so popular at the Gaming Convention Artshow Auctions that I painted another one and made prints of it. Those prints almost never came back unsold from an auction. \r\n

This was another of my first. I have painted a few more medusa-like women since, but this was my favorite and sold the first show.

Most of my ideas come from photos I see that inspire magical scenes. I find it's much easier to create from a photo than to find a photo to match the scene I imagine.\r\nThat is where my idea for Phantasy Portraits came from...where I can take a photo of you and create a fantasy illustration around you. |
