The start of the paintball series... finally!\r\nI think I started this long before Halloween of '04. As much as I enjoyed using color in this comic, I don't think I'll be using color like this again anytime soon. At least not in my comics.\r\nAnyway, I've been working on this so long, I'm not even sure if the joke is funny anymore. Hell, I'm not even sure it's really a joke.

Three years later, I finally get around to finishing comic 12, part 2 in the paintball series. Will I continue with it? I dunno! I'll consider it a miracle if I get to comic 13.\r\n\r\nHope you enjoy this one! It stars a new character to the series and is based on a very good friend of mine, Jason. He's an awesome dude. I hope to do more strips including him.

It's my personal spin on the opening dialogue from the movie "Adaptation," starring Nicholas Cage and written by Charlie Kauffman.\r\n\r\nNow i don't really hate my art, so don't take this the wrong way. And i'm not lonely or depressed either. I just thought it would be a funny comic, that's all. Besides, as artists we all have passing thoughts like these.\r\n\r\nAnyway, i hope you enjoy this one. So i finally finished it... god damn that took forever. Once i get the hang of doing webcomics, i think i'll churn these out much faster. I'll probably upload a colored version of this later, i just wanted to post this as soon as i got the drawings done. I like how my inking style changes half way through the comic...\r\n\r\nAnyway, Seven and Zapf have cats now. Cats are a double-edged sword. Sure they're cute and fun to play with and snuggle and whatnot, but sometimes they break shit and shit on stuff...\r\n\r\nI dunno if i'll keep the cats in the comic series, but i had to create this one. I've been reading a lot of online comic strips, and have noticed that the majority of them are about a couple of guys that just sit around and play video games. Don't get me wrong, i really dig those other comics. I just don't want my comic to turn into that. And neither does Zapf, apparently.\r\n\r\nEh, i thought the idea was funny at the time...

I started working on this so long ago that i forgot the description i was going to write for it...\r\n\r\nbut anyway, Kato and I came up with a start of a story for the strip. Originally, I thought the idea was pretty funny, but I'm not so sure now. i spent my Easter at the video store. it was such a slow day...\r\nto keep myself amused i doodled this. i colored it in photoshop when i got home.\r\nbored bored bored...\r\n\r\nthis is about as cute as i was willing to get with Seven... i don't think i'll use this for my deviant ID like i had originally planned.\r\n\r\nIf i could go back and redraw this, i wouldn't make his shoulders so wide, his feet so short, and the pose so boring.
