\r\nWow, first upload in nearly a year...amazing.\r\n\r\nThis particular character is Adrian Andollo. In my storyline, she is the eventual daughter of my Serena and Stan characters. Here, she would be in her late teens and participating in kickboxing

Image: Alphonsetaunt.jpg   476x609 137135 bytes 2004.04.02

a bizarre product of a dull evening. I've named this character Alphonse. He's based heavily \r\non voodoo priests I would read about from Creole legends. The arm thing was kind of a gag moreso\r\n on the fact that I there was not enough room on the paper to give him arms :)

Image: AntonioAndollo.jpg   600x690 51107 bytes 2003.08.05

This sketch is pretty old, but if you can mind the lousy scanning (I tried 6 different scans; this one was the best) I believe it’s one of my better-penciled pieces\r\nThis pic is suppose to be 20 years before the events in my comic took place. Stan’s father, Antonio “Tino” Andollo, somewhere in South Asia. Carrying the 4 year old Stan on his back.\r\n

Image: Atilla_Kanai.jpeg   500x699 66513 bytes 2004.04.12

my two skunk characters Attilla and Kanai.\r\nA scene from later in the story where they become a couple

Image: Atilla_pipes.jpg   509x699 55843 bytes 2003.08.05

Yet another oddity. I made this to put in the door of my Uilleann bagpipe case, hence the joke about the leaky pipes. It’s ironic since I made this around the time my Chaz Roberts chanter was giving me a lot of reed trouble. As for the character in the pic, I call him Atilla. Everyone in the comic just calls him “Till”\r\nSo far, the only male skunk who is re-occurring in my artwork\r\n

Image: Brambles.jpg   509x700 47273 bytes 2003.08.05

Last of the Falcon_Deity set. In the beginning, the whole set was a short comic about divine intervention for a fox. This was a small character building scene where he gives some sarcasm to the Falcon Deity while still suspended in the air. The cuts and bruises you see are from an earlier scene where he was thrown into a field of brambles.(ouch)

lots of brights here in this piece of folk art. a sample at how well I fare in the graphic design market. It got 4 phone calls at school, but recieved a modest grade. There are 3 musicians here\r\nemail me at if you can tell what the three traditional irish instruments being played here are. You get a con badge if you do so acurately

Image: Competance_2.jpg   439x573 34043 bytes 2003.07.26

I love the smug look on this guy. Part three of my "4 Stages of Anticipation". And no, I do not profess expertice in the drawing of grass. Where there experts, I'd be worried

Image: CountryCoon.jpeg   614x862 205177 bytes 2004.04.04

An unamed coon, simply enjoying himself in the sweet rual shade.\r\nThis one came from the infulence of Bob Wills country tunes and Tommy Makem's Irish songs about life in\r\nthe country

Image: Culmination_2.jpg   350x355 25825 bytes 2003.07.26

Part 4 of the "4 stages of anticipation".\r\nYeah, it's cut off, I know. Believe me, If I could cart around 8x11 notebooks just to get the whole thing, buddy, I'd do just that....but hey....I still got the fox! (Huzzah!)

Image: DemonStanSketch.jpeg   590x669 88525 bytes 2004.04.12

\r\nA sketch of Demon Stan.\r\nThe evil replicant of my Stan Andollo character

Image: Disillusionment_Confidence_2.jpg   424x584 37493 bytes 2003.07.26

This was the first of my three sample images on the VCL. \r\nEven if it was my sample image, I still thought it fared pretty well. These are the first 2 of the "4 Stages of Anticipation". Additionally, this is a no name fox. You could say, he's simply a part of my ever growing Vulpani pantheon. \r\n

Image: DJ_Lauren.jpg   335x653 38114 bytes 2003.08.05

Lauren is a mouse character who happens to be based on a real-life radio personality in Seattle.\r\nI’d love it if she had her own comic strip eventually.\r\nAnd those things in her ears? Headphones.\r\n

Image: DJ_Luara_second.jpg   352x729 40830 bytes 2003.08.05

An earlier pic of Lauren. Good, but I thought the previous pic made a fairly better rendition of whom she’s modeled after\r\n

Image: Doc's_girls.jpg   552x650 77182 bytes 2003.08.05

A triad of steroid induced floozies? Or lineup of my three Female regulars?\r\nErr.... a little of both, actually\r\n(From left) Serena O’Sullivan, Zelda Constantine, and Clara Micheavelli\r\n

Image: DocPipes-C.jpg   700x989 163705 bytes 2004.04.02

Myself as my foxcoon character, practicing a set of B.C. Childress Uilleann pipes. \r\nYou can't tell from this angle, but their are \r\n3 regulators hiding just bellow the tenor drone, making it a 3/4ths set!

Image: Early-fox-quadroped.jpg   380x530 48480 bytes 2003.07.27

One of the predecessors to the "The 4 Stages of Anticipation" group. Hence it's likeness to the 3rd stage pic. But some differences, mainly the hair, were chaged in final sketches because I wanted a more "feral" approach.(hell, the hair looks like John Davidson's from "That's Incredible")\r\nLike the rest, it was colored in photoshop.

Image: Falcon-Deity.jpg   502x614 47326 bytes 2003.07.27

Part of a Falcon Deity set. He was SUPPOSED to be suspending the fox in the air by the scruff of his neck, but it came out a bit jumbled. Now it officially sits as Doc's first (uploaded) ink oddity

Image: Felix_and_Clara.jpg   428x477 34037 bytes 2003.08.05

Clara and Felix.\r\nHere we have the Felix Michavelli and his wife Clara. This pic was the cover to the first installment of my \r\n“Chinese Hopping Ghost” comic. Without giving too much of the story away, the orb that they’re holding was a gift from Felix to Clara. What they neither of them knew, However, was that the orb really contained ...EVIL!! (too many good natured orbs out there already, methinks)\r\n

Image: FelixNewAge.jpeg   500x725 95586 bytes 2004.04.08

Yes...there is a common theme here.\r\n\r\n\r\nThis marks the first time I used Faber Castell. I found them in a Fred Meyer in Florence Oregon. I had never seen them\r\nanywhere else at that point. I tried them once and fell in love very quickly.\r\n\r\nSerena this time. probably the first of the "backside" set.\r\nStill, a lovely view from behind of my Irish vixen\r\n\r\nThe Original ink of "FelixNewAge". A lot cleaner that the colour version and just seems to have a better "grip" to the eccentric acousticness of it

Image: FelixNewAge.jpg   800x1160 393305 bytes 2004.04.02

Also a bit unorthodox. This was meant as a joke over a phony new age diagram I was looking at one day. Revealing where all of our particular auras and plains and demensions happen to float about our bodies can be located. Aren't we an imaginative people? hehe...first Felix nude pic

Image: Ghostly-c.jpg   846x1066 306216 bytes 2005.11.28

As an aspiring traditional musician, I've been playing folk music for 5+ and listening to it for 3 times that length. Unlike more fortunate students, my teachers were the ghosts that came in the form of vinyl records. mostly men and women who died at least 20 years ago. But they achieved a humble mortality through their musical endevours. This piece was inspired by those indirect ghosts.

Image: Hawkman(colored).jpg   500x600 33362 bytes 2003.07.27

I never really drew birds before this. I had spent some time at the Point Defiance Zoo in Tacoma, WA \r\none day; admiring the falcons and the eagles. Sure, the Red Wolves were awesome too, but something about the raptors caught my attention. No name for him either, but since I like this guy so much, I'll have to think of something.

Image: Hawkman2.0.jpeg   600x979 175808 bytes 2004.04.06

Hawkman again. In a bit more animated pose. I really liked how the shades and tones worked out with this one.

In all his psuedoscience, on grand display

Image: Madarien-Dharaud-C.jpg   700x965 263996 bytes 2004.04.02

Done complety with Sharpie. This is an Irish folk song that recites the everyday perils of the "Maidrin Dahruah"...The lyrics are quite delightful if you can decipher them to English

Image: Matrices-colorfull.jpg   632x920 201338 bytes 2007.01.01

A piece done for the venerable Matrices in an art trade

Image: Mitch-art.jpg   820x1000 180456 bytes 2005.11.27

Part of an art trade with Mitch De Le Guardia\r\nOne of the characters from his N'Duk story line, Rodderick

Image: Nomads1.jpeg   600x825 159734 bytes 2004.04.04

Came out during a camping trip to Oregon. Got thinking about what would the world be like if there was one, massive \r\nnomadic tribe comprised of over a 50,000 individuals that spanned the globe. A tribal society that is still\r\nfunctioning in modern times. was interesting when I wrote it, at least. This is part one of a three page \r\ncomic where two male tribe members are debating how easy it would be to win the affections of a female (topless, no less)\r\nNo real dialogue here

Image: Nomads2.jpeg   486x900 159143 bytes 2004.04.04

Part 2 of the "nomad" comic
