Set The Night On Fire

This is a follow up to one of my older pieces ("Rose Of The High Seas" from 2005)\r\n\r\nI had the idea for this piece at the back of my mind, for some time. The Spirit Of Speed

A project I started a while back, that I completed, just recently.\r\n\r\nI was beginning to think I'd never get this finished.\r\nI had previously submitted a few different versions of\r\nthis piece in various stages of its progress.\r\n\r\nI drew my inspiration for this from the work of the\r\nItalian Futurist artist, Tullio Crali (1910-2000)\r\n

1935 Speed Week Poster

I produced this mock-poster as a contribution for the current annual "Speed Week" on the Spontoon Island website.\r\n\r\nI was inspired by French poster art of the time (in particular, the work of A.M Cassandre, 1901-68).

This was the first of a number of design of designs I created for a website logo. The site owner I was doing it for has a website that sells handmade gifts. I knocked off a number of designs for them to choose from. Unfortunately, neither of the designs I made were accepted-all that bloody hard work for nothing!! I'd be lying if I said I wasn't miffed about it :(
