\r\n\r\n\r\nSome time back, Dutch and crew had made friends with the local sea horses and politely requested if they would take them into the Motaran Abyss.\r\n\r\nThe Matriarch warned them. "This is High Mating Season. The rogue males will hunt for any who stray into the depths! However, for you and your friends, I and my daughters will take the risk."\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nThe old matron smiled grimly and then nuzzled Dutch.\r\n\r\n"You put your own life at risk every day for a world not yours, can we do any less? You are our friends, and we have given you our word to stand with you against that which threatens our world."\r\n\r\n#\r\n\r\nUpper torso, arms, and hands by Daz's Vic.3\r\n\r\nAll else made by me.\r\n\r\nPostwork done in Photo Shop, Rendered in Vue.\r\n\r\nThank you for looking!

#16 THE WRECKAGE
Dutch and Mitzi cautiously move through the dense growth, noting the dark edges of broken plants indicating something had moved through only a few hours ago at most. Dutch signs to Mitzi, pointing to a broken footprint. "A Phydran, from the scent a male." \r\n\r\nShe nods in agreement and they continue. The foliage drops off suddenly into a clearing. In the center is the crumpled mass of a Vord Plateship!

We're Being Followed.
Hours into the dive the muscles of the lead seahorse known as Momma Seagrass bunch under Dutch's legs as her speed suddenly increases. She signals to the others as they all begin to move more swiftly. "Draw your blaster, Earth Man Dutch. We have a pack of males following our tails!"\r\n\r\n\r\nUpper torso, arms, and hands by Daz's Vic.3\r\nAll else created by me.\r\nPostwork done in Photo Shop, Rendered in Vue.\r\nThank you for looking!

"So they are taking the Seahorses instead of space ships. Ha! Very clever," murmurs Lord Talus, King of the Tamurans. "The Sethulans will not be aware of them until it is to late. A season has passed and Dutch and Mitzi are on a routine patrol of the southern border when Dutch, topping a rise in the tangled mass of vegatation, is suddenly jerked behind an outcropping by his mount.\r\n\r\n"What's up, Raith?" \r\n\r\nRaith snorts, pointing with his nose at something down below in the braken.\r\n\r\nDutch signals a warning to Mitzi, whose mount ducks low as they come up behind Raith. Mitzi follows Dutch's gaze and looks down into a break in the wall of foliage below.\r\n\r\n"Something's down there," Dutch hand-signals Mitzi.\r\n\r\nThey both draw weapons as they drop from their mounts in silence, rolling off into cover. The two raptors, now in hunting mode, move off and down the rise, splitting up and dissapearing with well rehersed practice.

I thought I would try posting one of my short stories here and see what happens. Hope some one likes it.\r\n\r\nThis is one of the stories from the world of Cyeatea.\r\nThese stories deal with everyday life of the\r\nnatives and the adventures they find themselves in.\r\nThis one is about a middle aged black widow named\r\nWindigo and her breakfast...

Widows prefer to paralyze their "guests" with their chelesera, the fangs which retract\r\nout of sight until needed. most predators of this world use retractable stingers that\r\nare just under the nails of both index fingers.

In the world of Cyearea there is no social distinction regarding males having sex with other males, or females having sex with other females.\r\nPredation makes no such distinctions possible.

The captured prey are taken up into the spider's parlor, Where he will be "dded".\r\n\r\nThis means purging, cleaning and then pumping him full of various fluids that will cause\r\n\r\nhis "innards" to sweat blood and other liquids into the main body cavities, then he'll be left\r\n\r\nto hang in the larder for a while befor she dines on him.\r\n\r\nThis sounds discusting, but this has nothing to do with any such processes on Earth.\r\n\r\nDon't confuse the two.
