Jan 8, 2005 "Waterfall Dragoness Josephine"

Josephine (affectionately known as Josée, of the French persuasion) is one of my recurring characters. At first glance, she's a piece of ass and a bad girl... and, well, yeah. But she's not about to apologize for it, because she's good at what she does.
Still a few nitpicks with it, but nothing worth bothering about. I'm not used to coloring waterfalls, let alone backgrounds in general.

Carnival was one of the first artists I remember finding somehow on dA (that I didn't already know of), and she is a sexy sexy crocpanther. "I must draw lots of prettiness for her!" I said.

Happy Holidays, Everyone!

Sonia requested that I draw a holiday-themed Solange chibi for her, with a candy cane! I love white and blue candy canes... so that's where the inspiration comes from. And she's got tail-jinglies!

Hand inked on bristol, colored in Tria and Prisma marker, and extra decorative elements added in Photoshop ^^ I made the brushes myself by tweaking the existing snowflake stock brush.

"Babs drew this for me at Anthrocon '04, and I liked it so much that I told her I'd probably color it and maybe make an icon from it. I lost some steam working on other things, so decided to do this as a way to break things up, and it seems to have worked!"

"My half of a trade with Cassandra/Scarlett Algee/~ospryn, of her character Merare Okimbe.

When I read the description of Merare, and looked at the reference pictures, I was happy to come up with some racy clothes for her, but I wanted to have it be feminine at the same time. I'm always on this Moulin Rouge kick, so I went with that, and her hair reminded me of the incredibly fantastic locks that Christina Aguilera sported in the Lady Marmalade video.

I had the sketch laying around for a long time, and finally inked it. It took me three days to color in Photoshop... but I'm reasonably pleased with the outcome."

"The inks from this were from a Valentine's Day themed trade last year, and I had meant to color it in time for the deadline, but turned it in just as b/w. Figures that I wouldn't get around to it until now... but I wanted to do it. Practice and prettiness and whatnot. I think I like the hair and the tablecloth the best."

Last week when Cali, Chilly, and I went to the I-Con meeting, it was pouring rain and we had to park in a lot far enough away to run. We STILL got soaked. Cali made the funniest wet cat noises... it demanded to be drawn.

Finished ink for Kathris' commission of his character, Lisa, a raccoon-lioness hybrid. I have to get her color scheme so I can forge ahead on that part, but I was so proud of the ink, I had to post it this way too ^^
It's deliberately a simple ink style to allow for the shading that I'm going to do.

Aya is a character that I've had for a long time, at least since middle school if not earlier.

When I joined the Mighty Duck collective, I wanted to have an avian character to let loose for trades and such, so I updated her for the occasion. This is actually an update OF the update, which still hasn't been colored. I should resurrect more of my birds and dragons.

I think I started this trade around this time last year, or something... All I know is that I didn't start working on it until around February, and finally got it colored a couple weeks ago.

Nylessa's an excellent artist that I know from the Mighty Duck fandom! When I read in Ranger's profile that he was something of a ladies' man, it only made sense to have him attempting the seduction of Sol... because she'd give him a run for his money ;)
