The two time world champ of Rage: Tribal War "Bone Doctor" a grade A Bonegnawer bitch. Bone Doctor is one of the few other female Rage players, and took the championships at GenCon twice, so got to be the trophy.\r\n\r\nShe's depicted here taking the head off a disrupter, a particuarly irritating sort of enemy. Killing severl of them won her the championship. The disrupter head and carcass were sculpted separately and then Bone Doctor was sculpted with her "props".\r\n\r\nRage and associated terms are copyright White Wolf Game Studios. Bone Doctor copyright Ginny Cody.

Two time world champion Rage: Tribal War Bone Doctor tears the head off her hapless prey. When you get to be champ, you get to model for next year's trophy. Bizarrely, most champs can't manage to win themselves the next year, Bone Doctor included. Songs-of-Fire displaced her as GenCon champ and took home her likeness. See the 2001 gallery to see his depiction.\r\n\r\nRage and associated terms are copyright White Wolf Game Studios. Bone Doctor is property of her player.

two time world champ Bone Doctor shown slaying a disrupter with teh aid of a Cockroach spirit (on her hip) and a rat-spirt (opposite side, not visible) Bone Doctor takes her name from the arm and leg bands strung with the bones of her fallen foes.\r\n\r\nThe disrupter was a really pain to sculpt as the scales were done by pressing individual little beads of modeling compound on the skin. \r\n\r\nRage and associated terms are copyright White Wolf Game Studios. Bone Doctor is property of her player.

Quarter view of steel sculpture from college. a nautaloid. Or the steel cockroach according to my mother.\r\n\r\nJust to make this extra creepy, the tentacles move. The slight vibration of walking past it is enough to make the ends of the tentacles quiver slightly and make the whole sculpture hum slightly, like it's alive.

A metal sculpture from college, side view. Somewhat off topic. Depends on whether you consider sculptures of invertibrates "furry".\r\n\r\nI always refered to this sculpture as either Chthulhu or the nautaloid. My mother refers to it as the steel cockroach, yet has it proudly displayed in the living room.\r\n

This sculpture was offered as a trophy for the GenCon 2000 Rage: Tribal War tournament. It depicts a Garou (werewolf) battling a Thunderwyrm.\r\nThe sculpture was done in ApoxieSculpt over a carved foam base and wire armature. The sand based was done by pressing sand into the Apoxie sculpt before it hardened. The rest was done inpainted with arcrylics and sealed with a matte Krylon finish.\r\nThe Garou is not based on anyone in particular and no reference pictures were used. The Thunderwyrm was based off the creatures from Tremors, the sandworms from Dune, and Ron Spencer's artwork in Book of the Wyrm, 2nd edition.\r\nGarou and Thunderwyrms are trademarks of White Wolf Game Studio. Rage: Tribal War is...currently in limbo. The license for the game is currently being transferred between companies. It's either held by White Wolf Game Studios or Azrael Productions, depending on the status of the game license.

A dog sits watching as the postman opens the gate to it's yard. A wire sculpture from college.\r\n\r\nIt's sort of furry minimalism, but with wire instead of pen and ink. Try it, it's fun, but also hard.\r\n\r\nInspired by the wire sculptures of Alexander Calder.\r\n\r\n

Postman versus dog, a primal suburban struggle. wire sculpture from college. \r\n\r\nside view showing off the postman and his bag as he opens the gate, while the dog stares up at him. From this view, the most notable aspect of the dog is its muzzle. (and the implication that there's teeth to go with it.)\r\n\r\nInspired by the works of Alexander Calder.\r\n\r\nWe now return to our regularly scheduled furry art, instead of this tangental stuff.
